Sorry. For, you know, what's about to happen. You've been very pleasant in our conversations.

Well lest the one bright side is less people will still claim CVA is a puppet of Goons.

Darkness is more then absence of light, it is ignorance and corruption. I will be the Bulwark from such things that you may live in the light. Pray so my arms do not grow weary and my footing remain sure.

If you are brave, join me in the dark.

Don't worry. For all the nigh-uncountable faults CVA has, collusion with Goonswarm is never one I've numbered among them.

That's funny, I didn't know claws look like amorphous blobs that runs from anything bigger than it, and then disgorges whatever it manages to eat.

It's typical that your primary target is me, being that I run around in Sigils and Bestowers all day...but you'll find me in a fleet one of these days I'm sure.

Your Emperor won't hold Providence even if the Imperium does decide to invade and your soul is damned forever. No Amarrians will ever want to associate with you, ever. And when you finally grow tired of this universe, or there are no more clone engineers to assist you, or the universe inevitably grows cold and dies, you will be sent to the Pit and your soul will be discarded.

One of these days! Priceless. What happened to

yes, if the Imperium invaded, which they won't, of course I would stand against them.

Hmm? One of these days. We're already there, kitten. Time for you to evac now.

They all came one day or the other... Though never stood the test of time. CVA still stands.

It will be interesting to witness if you manage to do better than all, for sure.

When the test of faith finds me... I shall not hesitate.

Each moment, is one afforded graciously by God. And now with the Empress gone, the CVA remains firm it's devotion to God and Empire. There will be no judgements made upon us as "brainwashed sarumites" or "conspirators of existential threats".

The war comes, now without it's original purpose, but we stand to have our mettle tested, and hopefully, by God's good mercy, will emerge stronger, smarter, and more savvy Paladins equipped to continue in our loyalty to God, Empire, and whomever our next Emperor/Empress may be, no matter how low or humble we are made in the process.

As arkanor sharpens arkanor, so one man sharpens another.

We're not coming to destroy CVA. What would be the point of that? Heck, we plan to be gone by the weekend.

No, but you will be cordially invited to join in the greater Sixth Empire's 'Capsuleers compete with Capsuleers' program, by which our existence in this altered state sets us apart and establishes that only we can truly push one another to greatness. After all....

So far as I know, he's never not claimed to follow the Amarr faith. He simply had questions for the Empress.

I think you'll agree I'm a poor choice to ask whether or not someone else is sincere in his beliefs. After all, I'm Matari, and my understanding of the Amarr faith is that without discipline, instruction, and the lash, we're incapable of making a decent moral judgment.

One of the things that interests me about the Drifters is they have had nothing to say verbally about what they're doing or anything else. I could declare support for some heir or another, but I don't think it'll make a difference.

Right now the capsuleers in the Imperium are being called upon to purge Providence for the actions committed by the Empress, but she's already been slain by the Drifters.

Whoever leads or doesn't lead Amarr is not the real crisis that any of us are facing.

So, now that we're a week out from the initial assault, and four days removed from the end of the formal campaign, I'd like to take a moment to say this:

Thank you, Cardinal Dex. Your people gave no quarter, and sought none. You fought us tooth and nail for every timer, every node. As a result, I daresay you are the organization with the most experience at Entosis Defense in New Eden - with the possible (but doubtful) exception of the Imperium itself. I'd also like to thank you, CoreBB, and the entire group in Sev3rance for the valuable experience we gained from fighting a determined, capable foe who was willing to let us try out a number of different looks and strategies without simply throwing up your hands and being done with it all.

Well fought, sorry about the drake.

And the Empress heard his questions and in turn, questioned his faith and dedication to the Empire.

I question his beliefs and dedication to the Empire because while the Drifters were killing the Empress and running roughshod over Khanid LoSec, where was the esteemed Lord Singularity? In Providence.

Providence is not Amarr. Providence is a backwater. It is not an official part of the Empire. So I call into question anyone who would put their desire for Providence over their duty to their faith and the people of the Empire. The Empire is not at war with Providence.

With proper discipline and instruction, the lash is not needed. If you need faith to make a decent moral judgement, you are inherently immoral. I find his judgement lacking in that he would choose to be a Lord of Goons and the fire of Providence than be a Lord of Amarr and the light of the Empire.

For whatever reason, we have a respite from the Drifters. But they could strike again any minute, anywhere. When the Drifters return, where will he be and for whom will he fight? That decision is his and his alone to make.

I will support my People, my King, my Empire and my God. Will he be able to say the same?

"Angels live, they never die, Apart from us, behind the sky. They're fading souls who've turned to ice, So ashen white in paradise."

There will come a time, when the CVA will be faced with a greater challenge, than being outnumbered 5v1.

The test came, and we were not hesitant. Indeed, we could not be. There were times, when a small feeling would creep up into some "We can't win" "We ought to leave or hide and save our resources for another day" "There is nothing we can do".

But the response I were to give them was this: "The very words written on the hulls of our Holy Amarr Hulls... The Will of God: Amarr Invincible". Whether we are beaten and made low, or victorious and made to feel glory, the God of Amarr is present in all situations, and in this, we took comfort, and gathered our resolve.

The greater challenge we would face... is where shall we direct our attention when the Empire declares war, and when a seemingly invincible foe wishes to decimate us. The Drifters have dealt us a blow of unspeakable evil, and yet... do we stay and defend Providence in the name of Amarr... or do we venture forth in the face of seemingly insurmountable odds.

This will be our challenge.

God help us.

Come back Pilot Arrendis, if ever you wish to see the Providence Theological Seminary, which is... not yet open to the public, but was deliberately spare by the Imperium. I shall give a personal tour.

Actually, Cardinal, I'd love to visit from time to time, but I fear the residents might take my presence the wrong way.
