o/ All!

I recently made my first PvP compilation video of Eve and was looking for any pointers. The video is one of two which pretty much just shows some frigate 1v1's. The You Tube link can be found here:

Obviously I know it could be better but I pretty much just slapped it together in a couple of days with IMovie editor. I'm not looking for subscribers because this is my first and only You Tube upload.

P.S. The intro song drops an F-bomb once or twice but thats it. consider yourself warned!

Tbh bud I liked the music you used, it is good to hear a bit of verity.

Also the dram.... I remember theorizing a armor tanked dram a while ago but never had the balls to try it very interesting to see that in some circumstances it works.

As you said wasn't the best editing probably a lot of unneeded looting footage, and also probably could of been encoded a bit better.

I'm just curious was the low FPS your computer or did you just fraps/render it at a lower FPS?

All in all I did enjoy watching it.

Some interesting fights, definitely needs some editing out of all the looting etc, a little pre-fight footage is good to set the scene but watching the looting afterwards is not worth including. I think the footage could possibly be sped up a little more as well.

Overall enjoyed it though, especially knowing you made this so you can say NO U to your corpmate (who is wrong and dumb) ♥

Thanks I appreciate the pointers. I was using QuickTime and iMovie I'm not sure why it was so laggy it wasnt while I was playing. I wish I could get a fraps that worked for Mac OS. Most people I talked to enjoy the intro lol.

Also I'm using a 27in. iMac screen so eve looks orgasmic while I play.

sorry you didn't like the music. It seems like all videos have techno in them these days and I was trying to mix it up. I thought the first and last song fit nicely with what was going on.

frig fights are fun to watch when the fights are short intense and fast! Cut your client resolution by half next time, cut some gfx as in your vid it hops abit and ZOOM IN next time =)
Its no fun watching to spots on a screen fighting at a distance. also remove the travel time towards your targets and if you want to show whatever loot you get just make it a 1-2sec peek in the vid.
Also increase speed. real time fraps are boring to watch even if its only a 1min fight.

am a big fan of solo frig pvp looks good m8 not to sure i like a armer tanked drem tho .... like the way you set your screen up not far from how i set mine up ,i'll give you 4 YAR'S and a eye patch for this vid m8 well done

thanks lol. I actually always fly my dram like that and enjoy it quite a bit. gotta use the faction NOS though.

Lol I keep at range as well as orbit it depends on who I'm fighting. I manually fly it to catch slicers It's hard to keep at range when you're webbed and being kited as I don't use an AB hardly ever. I do enjoy talkin to a tusker about frigate sized warfare though. I have never had a tracking problem hitting that close. A lot of frigs can testify to it. I recently lost to another wolf though that had no propulsion mod fitted. That irked me a little. Do you have any recommendations for a navy comet? Ive been thinking about taking one of those out.

There are 3 general flavors of Comets - AB/MWD Rail (close range), AB/MWD Blaster and MWD Rail (long range) which have different engagement profiles, different strengths & weaknesses.

I can't fly any of them, so I would suggest talking to another Tusker who does - join our Public Channel "The Tuskers Public Channel" and ask around for Jaxley, Kishin or Tawa Suyo in particular.
