How freaking awesome would they be?!
Dudes would love them!
People love the Gnosis, why dont we have pirate faction BCs?

Could this fix the BC under-usage problem?

While cool, the problem is that there is not effective usage of the existing pirate ships much outside of pve as it is. Pirate frigates are probably the most common, only because their price over standard is low enough to make them of viable usage.

I would love to see a much more diverse supply of pirate ships myself. But to really make that effective, we would need to enhance the lowsec and nullsec NPC pve to allow access to said ships easier. Ideally, a pirate operating out of lowsec would have these be the most easily accessible and affordable ships for their lifestyles. Assorted options for how to get there.

To quote Lfod Shi

The ratting itself is PvE. Getting away with it is PvP.

FFS, can we finally just skip the middleman and get the ability to design our own ships from scratch?

/looks at all sci-fi ship construction rules in existence...

Are you high?

BCs under current meta would not go down too well.

CCP - Building ant hills and magnifying glasses for fat kids

Not even once

EVE is becoming shallow and puerile; it will satisfy neither the veteran nor the "WoW" type crowd in the transition.

Yeh,
we all thought "HOW COOL WOULD IT BE TO HAVE A T3D?"

We have them now.

And we are all very happy that T3Ds are a thing... Aren't we?

CCP + T3s = power creep.
I would rather they were about utility.

Not obvious with the hype that T3Ds had.

I must agree. Subcaps need more work as it is. Introducing more op ships will only make things worse.

The Orthrus and the Cynabal called, they want your posting privileges back... so does the Bhaal, Vigilant, Gila and...

CCP Quant: Of all those who logon in Eve, 1.5% do Incursions, 13.8% PVP and 19.2% run Missions while 22.4% mine.

40.7% Join a fleet. The idea that Eve is a PVP game is false, the social fabric is in Missions and Mining.

To some degree they could, but apart from gated areas where t3d's could go but BC's cant. Still would leave t3d's needing a bump up the list a little, as imo they should. But how long did it take for CCP to finally figure out T3C's needed a bump up the list? Long time.
