EVE TV is offering advertising space during its coverage of Alliance Tournament XIII, live in August. Your advert will be played before matches on the live stream of the tournament. Put your corporation, your web site, your capital ship trade business or any EVE related advert on the biggest ad space available.

As always there is no charge to run a player advert on EVE TV for the Alliance Tournament.

General Rules

  • All video material must be Eve related!

  • The item/service being advertised must be Eve related.

  • Advert can not include copyrighted music or visuals.

  • The advert must be suitable for all ages.

  • Content must be respectable (no attack ads) and suitable for broadcast.

  • Adverts must be in English.

  • The quality of the advert must reflect positively on EVE itself, we will give comments and advice on improving the quality of the video until we can accept it.

  • The deadline for each weekend of the tournament is midnight on the Wednesday of that week. That’s August 19th and 26th. If accepted your advert will be shown on all the subsequent weekends of the tournament. Please keep in mind if you want to be sure your advert will be included please submit it at least a couple days earlier. We'll also be handing the videos that are done by the 12th of August to ISD for their stream, so if you want to get in on that one make sure it's in early.

    Technical Rules

  • Videos should have a resolution of 1920x1080 with a 1:1 pixel aspect ratio; adverts will not be accepted in any other resolutions. Videos should not contain black bars either horizontal or vertical.

  • Videos should be either 30 or 29.97 frames per second. adverts will not be accepted at any other frame rate.

  • Time length should be exactly 15 Seconds long.

  • If you are using Royalty Free / Creative Commons Music then credit the author somewhere in the end plate of your video. An end plate is where you typically put your Logo, Url and such

  • Video codec should be Mp4 or MOV file with H.264 as a compressor at 15 to 20Mbps.

  • Label your video file appropriately. Example: AllianceName_AdTitle_AT13.mp4

  • Each corp/alliance/website is allocated one ad slot in each cycle. You can submit multiple adverts but they will rotate with each cycle of all the tournament ads.

  • Royalty Free music

We don't want to take any chances of getting into trouble for using copyrighted material so I suggest you consider using Royalty free. There is a vast amount of Royalty Free music online so it should be easy finding a suitable track to back up those pretty visuals.

If you are not sure on how Creative Commons works this image explains it nicely.
    Creative Commons Simplified

Here are a few suggestions for music communities.
    Creative Commons Music Communities

This YouTube channel by AudioPad has over 250 tracks. To use the music, simply read the licence in the description of each video.
AudioPad - Royalty Free YouTube channel

Additionally, you are free to use EVE sounds in your submissions.

Please contact us at evetv@ccpgames.com to submit your video and to ask any questions. If you would also like us to add your advertisement to our rotation for the o7 show, please indicate as such when you submit it.

Any service being advertised must be free to players or accessed using in game currency. If you are interested in advertising a paid service or items not directly related to EVE please contact us at evetv@ccpgames.com.

Wait... why are there 3 dates to submit ads for if only the second and the third weekend are going to be broadcast?
How will ads on the first weekend be displayed if there's no stream?

Copy/Paste fail. It's just the second and third.

Just name it after your service instead of alliance.

This was an issue last year. For example, PL & Waffles submitted ads and they were not aired despite the "ad cycle" seemingly being completed. We could tell the cycle had completed because ads that aired before and after ours got multiple plays, around three or four, well before our ad got a second play.

Is CCP going to address this issue? If it was a randomized playlist then it's very coincidental that only a specific few ads got so much more playtime before the other ads got a second airing.

11 Days and no response from CCP. That's a bit saddening.

Anyway, for today's streams I noticed that some of the AT Ads were repeatedly being shown despite the full "cycle" not completing. Is this using the same system or something completely different than what CCP's "official stream" is going to be using?

the randomness of the ads sucks a big black horse tail.
there should be a ad cycle and the ad cycle should be published on the forums. having multiple ads should not be allowed.
corps/alliances with deep pockets could make 3 or 4 ads and get more air time than small corps that dont have the resources of the big guys.
The Furnace ad never gets air play.
There should be a ad cycle and the ad cycle should continue where it left off the last time it ended, and it should repeat.
Randomness is just some big bs.

At the bare minimum, an AT ad requires 0 financial investment.

Resource does not necessary mean isk, it could be not having someone in your corp who understands creating vids. But having the ad rotation cycle made public would help everyone and have CCP stick to it..

I'm truly disappointed, at CCP's bias, towards, certain alliances and organistations within Eve.
Some entities clearly got way more exposure than others, despite investing just as much time into the game.

Eve adverts clearly have not been distributed equally, with some adverts having been shown multiple times, while others simply have not been show.

CCP should be providing a level playing field, not favoring certain people. One would expect, CCP would've learned from previous debacles. But clearly they have not.

Yes, after a decade of play, you guys have truly, massively, disappointed me...
