Community Spotlight: Live streaming the Alliance Tournament XIII - Feedback
CCP's original plan for the preliminary fights of the Alliance Tournament XIII was to skip live streaming due to the huge amount of matches. At this point the ISD volunteers stepped in and offered to do the broadcasting. After weeks planning and testing, the first weekend of AT XIII was successfully streamed by ISD. Read more about the background in the latest Community Spotlight. Also please give the ISD volunteers a massive applause for this!

Designer SKINs to please your eyes - Feedback
With the Galatea update on August 25 we will see a new type of ship SKINs: less bound to traditional factional color schemes, the new designer SKINs can be more daring and bold. The new 'Raata Sunset' SKIN line for Caldari hulls color your ship fiercely red with elegant stripes of silver-white. More designer SKINs are already waiting: the blue-golden 'Blue Tiger' for Minmatar and Caldari hulls and the 'Valklear Glory' design for Minmatar ships.

More EVE Vegas Speakers & Content Confirmed!
EVE Vegas, the second biggest EVE player gathering on this planet, will take place in Vegas from October 23-25. We are excited to confirm that additional to previously announced speakers we will also have CCP Quant as speaker as well as CCP DIGGER, Executive Producer for EVE Valkyrie. CCP t0rfifrans joins as well as CCP Larrikin, CCP Leeloo and CCP Logibro. Check out EVE Vegas!

Amarr Navy Begins Preparation For Flagship Handover
The Amarr Navy has begun preparations to hand over the new Imperial Flagship to Empress Jamyl Sarum today, with a number of vessels sighted moving between the Throne Worlds and Amarr Navy Headquarters in preparation for her arrival. TES Auctoritas, the second Abaddon Imperial Issue constructed, is expected to be formally handed over to the Emperor Family at approximately 18:00 this evening in Safizon and commissioned as the Amarr Empire's new ceremonial flagship. It is then expected that Auctoritas will fly to Amarr under escort from both the Imperial Guard and Amarr Navy.


Alliance Tournament
Updated list of Flagships
Flagships in the Alliance Tournament can be equipped with better modules than the usual ships. However, once a Flagship has been destroyed, the according alliance cannot field another flagship. During the first weekend of the AT XIII we saw already six flagships exploding. CCP Logibro has updated the list of Flagships that are left in the tournament; Aliventi has hunted down the according killmails.


Game design
First batch of sov capture iterations
A first batch of sov capture improvements will be deployed with the Galatea update on August 25. CCP Fozzie proposed the following iterations: reduction of command node spawns and capture time, a bonus for the defenders at the start of the tug of war, a maximum speed cap of 4000 m/sec when an entosis link module has been equipped. Additionally to that we will see several improvements to the sov UI.

(Mass) testing is important - your feedback counts!
Our teams are always thankful for feedback from the test server (eg. bug reports or reports in designated threads). Summer vacation is pretty much over for all teams, everyone is kicking it up a notch now. CCP Myrkur explains, and CCP Antiquarian confirms, that improved version of the new stretch effects will come with Galatea.
