Business career advancement mission sends rookie out to mine with no mining equipment

The Business career advancement missions (e.g.: Antogase Pandon, Trossere) send the rookie pilot out to mine ore without supplying any mining equipment. All previous missions have supplied equipment, such as light electron blasters, a supply of ammo, civilian salvager, Survey and Salvaging skill books.

The opening sequence for the new player experience has the player flying out into space in their pod to pick up a pre-assembled rookie ship. This ship has no fittings. Traditionally, rookie ships would magically have a civilian mining laser and a civilian racial weapon fitted.

I'm just posting this here in the hope that someone who can alter the situation can see it.

IIRC, this was introduced with Incarna's NPE. Working around it is as simple as podflying to the next station over to pick up a "default" noobship, but I can see where this'd be a sticking point for an actual newbie.
