Did you know: Russians serve pizza covered in mockba (a mix of sardines, tuna, mackerel, salmon and onions.)

Normally I'd mock-ba a fact like that, but I don't want to end up having this thread hot-dropped by a bunch of supercarriers. Maybe I'll come back and mock that fact this winter. Come get full of mackerel, salmon, onions and recruitment in RITES chat in-game today!

Did you know: Of the 4.2 million babies born in the United States in 2008, 12.3% were premature. (A baby born at 37 weeks is considered premature. Normal gestation is 39 weeks.)

Watch as I try to join prematurely, with less than a million SP. Am I small enough to warrant an incubator? Why don't you come and find out in RITES chat, you silly little preemie

Did you know: One of the largest artificial skiing surfaces in the world is at the Ober Gatlingburg Ski Resort in Gatlingburg, Tennessee. It consists of a five acre site, mimicking ski conditions, and anyone can ski there all year around.

Which is all well and good, except for the fact that you'd be in Tennessee. Come hit the slopes of our recruitment chat in our RITES in-game channel today, we'll try to make sure your EVE experience doesn't go downhill.

Ok - I don't normally do plugs like this, but I have to say this.

I've been playing EVE off and on for years (since 2005). Off and on mostly because trying to find a good, QUALITY Corp is really difficult to find. Ones that actually do all the things listed in the first post of this thread. As a result of constantly getting into Corps I thought would be good, and turned out not to be (according to my definition mind you), I would quit for months before giving it another try.

I can honestly say that this Corp is what I've been hunting for for years. They are a great bunch, have an avid interest in seeing you succeed (because it only makes the Corp succeed), have a lot of good perks that they actually stand behind, and have their fingers in just about everything - from PvP to Exploration to Industry and R&D.

If you are looking for a good, QUALITY Corporation in EVE, these guys are it.

The word comes from the Portuguese for wine and garlic, and was adapted over time,

Did you know: Crucible totally rocks, mate.

We killed three TEST Tornados last night (along with the rest of their gang) but can't post any kills because EVE-kill is the slow at updating their software. BOO. Come update your corp-ware by joining RITES channel tonight.

Did you know: In 1647, the English parliament passed a law made Christmas illegal. The Puritan leader Oliver Cromwell, who considered feasting and revelry on what was supposed to be a holy day to be immoral, banned the Christmas festivities.

Indeed, we should really be throwing rocks at people on Christmas. Come join RITES chat today so we can lob recruitment at you until you're properly stoned.

Did you know: The first computer mouse was invented by Doug Engelbart in around 1964 and was made of wood

Back in my day, we didn't have fancy plastic mice whose left clickers break every few months, mouses were made out of wood, and you had to walk five miles to carve one yourself out of a tree in the middle of an ice storm. Come check out our olde timey recruitment style in RITES chat today, every fifth recruit gets a big glass jar of fresh marmalade.

Did you know: Sandals originated in warm climates where the soles of the feet needed protection but the top of the foot needed to be cool.

Oh, you mean they didn't originate in normal climates, especially on public transportation, where hippies need to stink up the world with their terrible foot odors? Bus yourself into RITES channel today, we'll try to see if the shoe fits.

Did you know: Elmo is the only puppet in history to have testified before Congress

I found that fact on a site but it's probably incorrect as I'm sure plenty of puppets have testified before congress, you just didn't see their literal strings. Come visit RITES chat today, we'll do our best to tickle your recruitment bone.

Did you know: In this final episode of the X-Files, it is revealed that on December 22 2012, aliens will invade and take over the world.

And since everything else in the X-Files has been proven true, that's kind of scary. Put on your most swank tinfoil hat and join RITES chat today, the truth is in there!

Did you know: The wealthy English were known for their “Surprise Pies” in which live creatures would pop out when the pie was cut open

Looking for random facts is sometimes not a fun business. Finding that out has ruined my appetite for the rest of my day. Come spoil your solo EVE gaming lifestyle by hitting up RITES chat today, the surprise in our pie is friendship! Aww!

Did you know: In the 1931 movie Skippy, 9-year-old Jackie Cooper had 3 crying scenes but had trouble crying on cue. One of the scenes involved a dog. The director Norman Taurog, also Jackie's uncle, had a security guard take the dog out of sight. When Norman threatened to have the dog shot, Jackie stayed dried-eyed, so Norman arranged to have a pistol shot heard. After the shot, Norman said, "The policeman has shot your dog. . . because you're more interested in the dog than you are in your work." After capturing Jackie's flood of tears on camera, they gave him ice cream.

We should totally repeal child labor laws, btw. It's a great plan! Anyways, join RITES chat today to discuss recruitment or well, we'll probably just shoot your dog. No promises on ice cream, however.

Best ancient civilization of the day: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mayans

I ain't having no 2012 calendar day nonsense but having a written language and artistic, developed society before the damn Spanish rolled in is kinda cool. Push on to the new year and hop in fleet if you're 1-10 mil SP, we're x'ing up because we're all gonna die anyway right?

Did you know: Ducks at risk of attack by predators are able to balance the need for sleep and survival, keeping one half of the brain awake while the other slips into sleep mode

Which is better than a lot of EVE players do, when fully awake a lot of them waddle right into various predators. Come quack at us in RITES chat today, we'll see if we're birds of the same feather.

Did you know: If you yelled for 8 years, 7 months and 6 days, you would have produced just enough sound energy to heat up one cup of coffee

That's also enough yelling to make up the first 9 years of your average marriage, as well. Come yell at us in RITES chat today, we'll do our best to heat up your EVE experience.

Best liquid refreshment of the day: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Water (the plain ol' variety)

Looking for people who appreciate the sweet taste of nature's nectar once in a while, because what are we if not just a big sack of fleshy moisture, really. Also would be nice to be between 1-10 mil SP. Have yourself a tall glass of the stuff instead of whatever mix of alcohol or sugar based poison you usually drink today.

Did you know: The highest speed ever achieved on a bicycle is 166.94 mph, by Fred Rompelberg

Which is complete bullshit, as the only way he reached that speed was being dragged by a motorcycle. Oh wow, so impressive, Fred Rompelberg. Speaking of impressive, come impress us in RITES chat today by sharing your disgust with this baloney record and maybe we can drag you to a enjoyable EVE experience.
