Eveopedia is out dated. Why?

Who updates that Eve-opedia? It has outdated items in it.

edit: oh you should know that after looking at your char age. Erm you should also know eveopedia has never been a great source for info. Yeah it's been out of date for some time.

First of all no one should assume to know anything. I was an active player years ago when Eveopedia was always accurate. I only recently came back to EVE last month after 3 years hiatus. So pfft.

And what the heck does monument targeted mean???

If you haven't noticed yet, CCP has a tendency to implement features they think are awesome at that point, and then completely forget about them. Evelopedia is one of those things.

I think it's the responsibility of an ISD group, which basically comes down to player volunteers.

It's the type of thing that naturally lends itself to player upkeep because we know about aspects of the game better than CCP's paid staff in sme respects.

So I guess it's out of date because there probably haven't been that many new players volunteering to assist on that ISD team.

There used to be a sticky thread here in GD advertising for positions, but it was unstickied a while back.

The evelopedia is dangerously out-of-date. I say 'dangerously' because newbies will see its dereliction as a red flag.
