Well that's where mass quantities of alcohol comes into use, I do it pretty often to "reset the game". See? Problem easily solved.

What the minority of a strange EVE community not able to deal with a special and complex game and "all these nerfs and changes" says about this doesn't count. What CCP would answer to this doesn't really need Visionary Level 5.

Because the effort to convince their subscribers to reset everything they played years for seems to end up in a shitstorm and closing down the servers. :-D

New Eden isn't nice. It isn't friendly. It isn't very hospitiable. Good thing there are people here to shoot in the face.

It may actually be agood idea, perhaps even a great idea, if done after all the new sov system and citadels is finished. If EVE was reset it would get huge press coverage, and a lot of new players may be encouraged to start playing.

It would also be a good way to get rid of all of those outposts in nullsec and begin the game fresh with citadels and an empty null to conquer for various groups.

Outposts should have been destructable from the beginning; now to fix the mess a reset to the beginning would be a good solution.

I'll lose a lot of stuff if they reset it, but then so will everyone else. If you built stuff up once you can do it again and do it better if you choose.

Are you a politician? Because thats the laziest and most narrow-minded and most superficial solution i can think of for EVEs problems. Thats even worse than the "treating symptoms" approach.

You are basically saying this:
problem: the "endgame" content has flaws and is not working well
solution: reset the game every few years so that no one reaches the endgame

tl;dr
the only way i would be ok with a rest of eve is if it was via an EVE2. As in they were behind the scenes doing a complete rewrite in a different engine with new graphics, mechanics, and the like. and they closed EVE and started EVE2 fresh. But it would have to be a totally different game. Because i honestly like the history and ups and down of the story lines in eve and find a reset to be stupid.

I don;t know about you, but when i go work for a company, i don;t complain that they guy who started there 10 years before me makes more money then i do and is in a higher position then i am.

Maybe if you'd taken better care of it, you wouldn't be asking CCP to undo all the harm you've done.
