No.

No one gets to brag about taking systems in this war anymore.

No one!

It takes mere hours, and is back in enemy hands by brunch!

Celebrate regions, constellation conquests maybe. No one gets to congratulate themselves over a single stinking star!

Sounds like someone's mad.

Sounds like someone is an ignorant mouthbreather.

Amarr has taken Plenty of systems in the last few days, including all of the TLF HQ systems. We do not brag about it here, though, because it is useless to do so, and systems change hands faster than most can keep track. It's all temporary at this point, until a real breakthrough is accomplished and a few constellations change hands.

What you say may well be true, but I still don't see why it means people cannot celebrate a victory as they see fit. For a new capsuleer a success in combat over a punisher class frigate is something to tell tales about! Why not allow the quality of propaganda to be its own indicator and allow IGS to be about publicising positive achievement rather than simply condemning the achievements of others from the bitter sidelines?

In this thread Percussive Diplomacy are announcing a victory they are proud about and throwing down a gauntlet to others who might oppose them to go and do something about it. It seems an entirely fair use of Galnet to me and I think the only people worthy of criticism are those spending their time in verbal condemnation when they probably should be in spaceships making their opinions clear with laser weaponry and advanced combat drones.

An appropriate answer to BlueJacket's gauntlet here would be:

"by the way we just conquered your system back,."

Anything short of that announcement just does sound like sour grapes.

The True Knowledge is that nothing matters that does not matter to you, might does make right and power makes freedom

If anything, the biggest accomplisment here is not the conquest of a system but that someone got SLAPD to contribute to the FDU war effort instead of going on a slosh op (I kid because I love)

I had wondered how much longer it would take for others to start noticing the utter irrelevance of this conflict.

Simply going to invoke the Freedom of Communications Act YC83 here. That's a Federation law, in case that wasn't clear. I appreciate not all jurisdictions allow you to regurgitate anything but the established dogma of the current regime.

Amarr militia - desperately groping for attention in any possible thread.

A couple things are misleading in this thread. First, whilel SLAPD like to consider themselves terrorists, they are in fact empowered by the militia act to do what they do. Second, it's really the Caldari militia desperately groping for attention since over half of the current Amarr militia consists of former Caldari militia members.

It seems SLAPD and its Federation militia allies have "terrrorized" the Caldari miltia so much that they have fled to the protection of the religious fanatics on the far side of low sec space.
