I was going to post in it that I had already decided what I was going to do and it was funnily enough what the OP was suggesting... But it had been locked.

So, first off I'll make this clear. I am not Suggesting anyone should do this. For balance, I Just want the OP of that thread, the general populous here and CCP to know that another Industrialist player had already decided to do it anyway without any prompting. My wallet is voting by cancelling what was five paid subscriptions. I'll continue to add skills to the que until the time is up then that's it. Could be for good, until the event is over or until the imbalances that leave the industrial miner holding the worst end of the eve stick in every way are addressed.

Time will tell. Either way my wallet is voting for some sort of change.

BTW, no tears here guys. I'm feeling quite refreshed and happy as I'm sure you will be to see one less carebear taking up space in your now slightly emptier sand pit ;P

...And one last edit before I un-sub this last account and loose the ability to post: Some of you guys really are narrow minded and appear to have reading difficulties. I am not necessarily quitting. Also, Carebears don't want risk free. They merely want some balance. It's that thing you can get when you are willing to meet someone half or part way for the greater good and not just your own. Or when you at least have the mental capacity to see things from some one elses point of view. That wider view opens the door for a more informed judgement which you can benefit from, even if indirectly.

Fart.

You'd call an icicle on a polar bear's nose "tears." Morganta and the Harlot responded to this OP. That speaks volumes.

Good purchasing decision, SS! Keep on truckin'.

Wuss. If you can't suck it up and deal with it, Eve's probably not the game for you anymore.

I hate hulkagedon, it's the stupidest thing ever and would not be that bad if that was all they were blowing up, hulks. There needs to be a balance, true. But players make that balance with something like this, you have a small fleet of PVP pilots or a group of people with you if there is people doing this. Also your ore prices will go up. Keep playing, and stop trying to get everything handed to you on a sliver spoon.

If this is referring to the shittastic rate of isk made through mining, then I agree, it does need help....

You know, if the pvp'ers had their way and killed all carebears...

Who's going to be mining the minerals to build your ships? ;p

Hulkageddon just makes everything more expensive in the short term ;p

If you do things right, people won't be sure you've done anything at all...

I find this funny, most of the corps that do hulkagedon have a mining arm on there corp, to build stuff for them or sell ore for ISK. So what dose this say for thoses who do hulkagedon and yell "kill all care bares!"

Boosting Miners Pay:

Lower the amount of minerals you get from refining loot. I am making the assumption here that the amount of minerals you get from refining NPC drops is a significant percentage of minerals being sold on the market. CCP could lower the efficiency of refining modules/weapons/ammo. Currently getting 100% refine from those items seems silly to me.

Miners Should Take Responsibility For Their Own Safety:

Have the miners even considered doing anything at all to protect themselves other than dock up and complain? Buffer tank your hulks and have remote reps going from your haulers to your Hulks. Miners can also move to a less traveled system? CCP should make Exhumers a bit more agile and include the +2 warp scram strength on the Mercoxit mining barge ( cant remember the name atm ) on the other two exhumers. As a pvper, mining barges are silly easy to catch and kill.

As a friend once said many years ago:

PvP'ers can always go mine, but miners cant PvP. This is of course another part of the problem.

I Like Hulkageddon:

Why? Because it takes out a lot of the bots and afk'ers.

When it comes to PvP, I am like a chiwawa hanging from a grizzley bears pair of wrinklies for dear life.

There's no wrong way to play eve, just a choice and an action.... No ones way is better than the rest, it's how you want to play the game, your style. If you got a hard on to kill care bares than so be it. But dont you say your way is the only way or the balance is out of wack, because every one made a choice play eve how they want to play eve, who are we to say your way is wrong and who are you to say my way is wrong? Youn can't.
