What is the first video game You played?

Of course, it can be a computer game as well...

Some of the first I tried were :
- Coleco Telstar (1976) - Coleco Pong Game Machine - Telstar 1976
- Arcade: Space Invaders (1978) 1978
- Stratovox - Arcade (Taito 1980) 1980

Battlezone. I can remember my father lifting me up to look through the viewport at the arcade near our local beach :D

Sometimes you hit the bar and sometimes the bar hits you...

Dunno. It was a MSX game with an airplane flying along a canyon so you had to avoid the walls and hit stuff on the river below. Played it on my uncle's MSX.

Also don't know the name of the first PC game I played; the shop where we bought the machine just copied a few random games on the machine and I spent quite a while playing one of those games. It was in 3D and was about flying a pyramidal ship in 3rd person while destroying some pyramids and shooting down stuff. One of the levels was on "Planet Xerxes" (that name always shocked me) and the game music was Bach's or Beethoven's. That was 23 years ago...

I remember the first PC game that we actually bought: Secret Weapons of the Luftwaffe. I played it for years and bought all the expansion planes for it... Cool

Pong.
Then I discovered the Atari 2600 and everything went to hell.

Come hell or high water, this sick world will know I was here.

EVE is becoming shallow and puerile; it will satisfy neither the veteran nor the "WoW" type crowd in the transition.

I'm old, so my memory isn't producing my first video game experience with any certainty. But Pac-man, Centipede, Space Invaders, Asteroids and such were my first experiences. -* does a Pac-man death warble *-
