Mass-Test on Singularity, Tuesday 18th August @ 17:00 EVE-Time

Hi all,

We are planning a mass test on Singularity on Tuesday, August 18th @ 17:00 EVE time.

What exactly is being tested?
  • Client and server stability
  • Another look at revamped stretch effects used by utility modules
  • Behavioral NPCs

    • How to connect to Singularity for this test:
  • Read the Instructions at http://wiki.eveonline.com/en/wiki/Singularity and read general instructions about mass tests at http://wiki.eveonline.com/en/wiki/Mass_testing.
  • Join the in-game channel "MassTesting"

    • Test steps:
  • Meet in FD-MLJ
  • Jump to X-BV98
  • Align to POS beacon
  • Warp to POS beacon
  • Shoot the control tower
  • Use ewar/remote mods
  • Align to Poitot gate
  • Fleet W: Jump to Poitot and setup gate camp
  • Fleet X: Jump to Poitot + fight at the gate
  • Jump to F67E-Q
  • Fight NPCs

    • What else should I know?

    • Use the command /moveme to be moved to the start location
    • 2M Skill points will be awarded on Singularity for this mass test
    • Bring many different ships and ideally titans if you can.
    • Cynos will be provided
    • Fit a selection of utility modules, from the following categories: Cargo Scanners, Neuts, Nos, Cap Transfers, Salvagers, Tractor Beams, Remote Armor/Shield Reps, ECM, Remote Sensor Boosters, Ship Scanners, Survey Scanners, Target Painters, Remote Tracking Computers, Warp Scramblers

    I cant access singularity, when was the last mirror? my character is only about a month old, does this mean i cant participate in the mass test today?

    The current mirror is ancient, from the beginning of May. We are planning a new mirror as soon as the alliance tournament is over.

    Will CCP enable accounts on request that was unsubbed at the time the database was copied but are subbed now?

    Can't seem to login with my character. I did change my password about a 4-6 weeks ago. Would like to use this character / toon in the test.

    If this was done on one of the main high sec areas on Tranquility, I'd probably join. The last time I tried to install the test server it ruined my Eve game.

    go on mate, give it a try, OP's instructions are good, even I could do it and i have trouble logging on

    will the sp point be avaliable for using them on Tranquility Character after tests are concluded in Singularity? also I'm not able to log in to Singularity with my current login and password is there a time in which the server will be accessible?

    A last minute patch is currently being deployed to Singularity. It should be back online at ~16:40.

    If your account isn't active on SiSi, it won't change till the new mirror is done or you post in the activation thread.

    Shocked .. guess >> there need more clear explanation around installation of Singularity, .. yesterday have done 1st time, with troubles but ultimately came with success, ..

    for example for me more clear is would be :
    1. create on Drive C: a new folder & name it( for example >> C:\evetest )
    7. add in target of shortcut with space /server:Singularity
    Lol * for more convenience after shourtcut been created & modified send it on desktop, by right mouse click + choose where to send to, name this shortcut on desktop EvE Singularity

    .. while in motion ~ be without going & coming, ..
