Fixed: Login issues

I've been having trouble logging in today. The launcher works just fine but when I log in and press play it tries to authenticate and goes straight to giving me an error message: Connection Failed - the connection to the server was closed. EVE then shows me the old style connection screen, when I try to connect through there it gives me another error message: Login Failed- The authentication token provided by the launcher is of an invalid format. Please try again or contact EVE customer support.

So far I've tried the following:
Reboot system - No effect
Reinstall launcher following this: https://ccpcommunity.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/202664365 - No effect
Uninstalled and reinstalled client - No effect (I also had some problems getting rid of the folder launcher\appdata\EVE_Online_Launcher-2.2.950061.win32, I had to use the program Unlocker to get rid of it).

Where do I go from here?

EDIT: I've just tried logging in with my laptop and succeeded. Still no luck with my desktop though. My laptop is running Windows 7 while my desktop is running Windows 10. The problem started this morning, I've been playing without problems the last couple of days.

Here's a workaround if you're on Windows 10.

Go to your Network settings and "Change adapter options".
You might find a lot of installed Ethernet devices (don't know why Windows 10 does it). Deactivate all except your active network devices.

This fixed it for me.
