Launcher lost login info's / Login Problems with laucher

Hi,

after the laucher update from yesterday today all my login infos have gone one more time. This happens to me on my 3 differnt macs on a regular base.

Is there :

a) a chance to fix it
b) or a workaround to copy or save a file

it is a little bit boring to reenter it every few days.

by the way sometime i have another issue:

- Login ith user and password
- system ask for char name
- i enter the correct (hopefully) charname
- i got back to the empty login screen with the error message wrong login
- i reneter user and password and without geting the second question i am able to play.

anybody else with this behaivior ?

ps:

if i have know before that i have to enter this so often maybe i have choosen abc123 or something else simple as charname........

Hi,

i have done some research and find a file :

/Applications/EVE Online.app/Contents/Resources/cache/BrowserCache/Cookies

with contains

.......
login.eveonline.comUserxxxxxx,yyyyyy,zzzzzz
.......

there is see my account names sperated with ",".

But This file looks like a Database file, so my question to the dev's:

Is is save to copy and replace this file in case my client looses the login infos ?
Can i copy the from one "working" system to another ?

i still have troubles with the launcher, i play with 3 mac and at least one havend "learn" again my login names and i still loos this very few days.

Hoping for a answer and a solution.....

Hi,

next laucher update:

i first days the login infos where keeped, today one of my clients lost 2 of 3 login infos. A little bit like a roulette.

I'm having the issue that the LOG IN button doesn't work after I enter my account name and password. Hitting Return doesn't work to get me to log in either.

On a side note: my launcher hasn't saved account log in information for over a year, I've gotten used to having to key it in everytime.

Well, clearing the launcher cache fixed that problem, I can now log in via the launcher as usual. I'll check to see if my IGB still causes a freeze later. Right now I'm watching Doctor Who.

How do you clear the launcher Cache?

This has been going on for about a week now. I've detailed some of my experiences here along with a few things I tried that eventually worked. Hope that helps.

There should be a gear icon that lets you change the launcher settings, including clearing the cache and forcing a download of all the resource files.

I am currently away, traveling through time and will be returning last week.
