How to replicate:

  • Be in station
  • Get in a shuttle (doesn't really matter)
  • Make sure you have (1) an industrial ship with good capacity and (2) a ship to put into is that is larger than the IS's natural storage capacity. I'm used a Telos(15000m3) and Tayra(7300m3?)
  • Of course, make sure the Tayra is fitted to >15k m3
  • Try to put the Telos into the Tarya using the Inventory Menu...it says that you are trying to put something too large into something smaller


It wont let you do this and you have to manually switch to the Tayra, load the Talos and then it will work...

Tiny issue but still an issue. Hope this helps.

This isn't really a bug i don't think, your skills affect that tayra when you are in it, but when you are not its cargo capacity is reduced because your skills aren't helping it out.

I disagree as it seems that the Expanded Cargohold II are not being factored into the m3. A pilots skill doesn't drop a Tayra from +35K m3 to apx 7K m3 just because they are not in it. Also if that was the case then if you got out of a loaded IS then there would be serious structural issues when the cargohold shrinks around it's cargo...Lol

Not a bug, no skills or modules are applied to a ship in station if you're not in the ship. A Tayra's base cargo without any skills is 7km3+, so the behaviour you're describing makes sense.
