Weekend Thinking about the Vulture Thread

Hey guys, #thebest here(named #thebest due to his being better at all aspects of existence).

Was just sitting around on this beautiful Saturday morning at work contemplating the superiority of Caldari while snickering to myself at how silly and dumb the Gallente are when I thought to myself:

Why not a vulture?

I'm pretty new. Put a bit of dedication towards cruisers so I've already got established Medium rails. I could shift gears and start training up battlecruisers to lead to the eventual command battlecruiser. It looks cool. Seems like having 3 command links might be beneficial to whatever fleet I happen to participate in.

So why not? Is the meta super gay now? Has the over moderation of CCP's forum ISD's resulted in all free-thinking individuals to fade into obscurity?

Will it never be successful because it can't perma spam an MWD, which seems to be the requirement for every fleet these days?

I probably shouldn't, but as today is 'Be Charitable and Slightly Condescending To Those Less Fortunate Than You' Day, I'll bite:

Ask yourself: would you have used a racially offensive adjective in that sentence instead of a homophobic one? I'm guessing probably not.

How do you feel about the vulture? Is it viable in the game's current meta?

If someone asked me, "what can you fly?" and I responded with "A vulture" would I immediately get laughed at and told "nah just get in a tackler, noob" ?

Stop trying to make this about how you feel oppressed or whatever.

Nothing to do with "how I feel oppressed or whatever", dimbulb, and it's more to do with this:

Wow you're in a terrible mood.

I'm sorry about whatever has happened to you to make you so irritable and unpleasant, but if you don't have anything to say about the Vulture, can you please stop responding?

I keep seeing that you're responding and I get my hopes up thinking I'm going to get to read something I want to, and instead it's just you crying over choice of words and phraseology.

As I said, cross-train Gallente if you're obsessed with rails. The Eos and Astarte probably outperform the Vulture...there's a reason you don't see it that often.

Actually nobody uses Vulture in term of #thebest, sorry mate.

tried to make vulture fits. posted in threads about vulture fits. annoyed people in game about vulture fits. read up eve uni and other internet sites/blogs. Found that any vulture fit you can possibly come up with can be done better with an astartes a proteus or a tengu.

Sorry fella its just not a great boat and your better off just investing your training time into hacs for the eagle/afktar and tech3 for tengus/proteus.
