EVE is becoming shallow and puerile; it will satisfy neither the veteran nor the "WoW" type crowd in the transition.

I think this is the second time I've used the 'bunch of bitches' reply in a 'where the women at' thread.

I'm a dude roleplaying as a lesbian woman who is a man trapped in a woman's body.

Funny story. I had lesbian RP with another player and then found out it was a woman behind the character, and then I couldn't lesbian RP with the player anymore because I was impossibly self conscious about my lesbian fantasy.

What I'm saying is I can't lesbian roleplay unless it is a man behind the girl character, cuz then we're even.

Men who roleplay as hetero women, though, that **** is homosexual.

You're welcome, thread is interesting now.

So due to RP, I like the space man/woman ratio, because the RP is all that matters to me.

If you're a woman roleplaying as a hetero man, though, I guess that would make us even too and you should hit me up. Then we're both fantasizing about gender parts we don't own irl.

So technically I guess that makes me roleplay bi.

Hello alleged biosex females.
I am glad to see that you enjoy eve.
Eve needs more of you.

I've never got the whole RP thing but if people enjoy doing it more power to them. To love this game and get any sort of enriched immersion or connection from playing it...I'd probably have to pretend to be someone else too! P

When I started Eve, Zimmy was just a portrait (initially even random generated, iirc), I didn't bother with a backstory or any kind of RP at all. It was only at about 5 years in that I started to get into contact with rolepayers, many of them interested in cybersex.
Since I had never even considered her a person, I was flabbergasted.
Men pretending to be virtual space lesbians just sounded like the apex of awkwardness to me.

So I created the backstory later, where Zim was bioengineered by Zaniou in an attempt to create genetically enhanced super-capsuleers.
To protect their intellectual property, Zaniou saw to it that she and all her fellow test subjects were spayed and neutered, since unsolicited reproduction would have been a direct copyright infringement (Caldari ethics at their best).
Playing Zimmy as an asexual makes it less awkward for me and keeps some of the creeps away.

(By the way, the super-capsuleer project turned out to be an utter failure and was soon discontinued. But IC, Zim still believes she is some invincible, bioengineered supersoldier, despite overwhelming evidence to the contrary Blink)

I'd like to apologize for the poor quality of the post above and sincerely hope you didn't waste your time reading it. Yes, I do feel bad about it.

So like, roleplaying is a valid training tool, albeit mostly on office teambuilding retreats. I'm thinking we might have something to learn from each other if we type what we'd do to each other as the opposite sex.

Plus it would be ******* funny.

OP, roll a guy character and pm me please.

I wrote about 10 tl;drs about this topic, and all were bummers. People ought not to be creepy/drooling/horn-dogging ingame. Unless invited. If that's the case, get a PM/room. Courtesy and dignity have been appreciated for centuries. Come on man.

That said, salute sword sisters and brothers! EVE doesn't care, it's all a flat digital playing field.

“Squeeze! Squeeze! Squeeze! all the morning long; I squeezed that sperm till I myself almost melted into it; I squeezed that sperm till a strange sort of insanity came over me, and I found myself unwittingly squeezing my co-labourers' hands in it, mistaking their hands for the gentle globules. Such an abounding, affectionate, friendly, loving feeling did this avocation beget; that at last I was continually squeezing their hands, and looking up into their eyes sentimentally, as much as to say,—Oh! my dear fellow beings, why should we longer cherish any social acerbities, or know the slightest ill humour or envy! Come; let us squeeze hands all round; nay, let us all squeeze ourselves into each other; let us squeeze ourselves universally into the very milk and sperm of kindness.” -Moby ****

Due to my not so stellar jenglish if you told me

"I am real woman" id say "great join fleet" or smthg...if you told me

"I am real live actual woman" id say "wait were you dead before?" or "hold on how actual are you exactly?"

See confusion...

Just to clarify things, I'll repeat something I've said a few times (that's coherence) about how I perceive Ish & al. and actually every character I've rolled in every game with RP elements.

They are storytelling tools. Characters from a story, and as such I use them to explain what I want to explain. I don't fancy being any of them; I fancy explaining what they do, what happens to them, straight from my imagination since EVE and other videogames rarely are good story telling tools. Good storytelling benefits from divine power on the universe being told, at least when setting the initial conditions...

"Oh, but why oh why do you use female characters?"

Easily: If I've got to spend a lot of time with a character, I prefer it being female. I absolutely love females. I don't bother much with what a male is supposed to do in a game, other than being, houm, different than I am in RL. Roll

Stories are different, though. Three out of four stories I've writen about EVE universe, but not Ish's storyline, had male mains since that was required by the story. And even the one with a female main, dealt a lot with male and the price they exact from women who aspire to freedom. That's a recurring theme since New Eden is not place, in my imaginaion, where women just set a goal and achieve it, but they must sacrifice since NE is a men's world. Not surprisingly since the IP was made by a bunch of vikings in their 20's/30's... and they failed spectacularly when trying to open potential venues to female gameplay.

But that would be a different story. I have the pet conviction that a) females are very competitive against each other and b) that competition is below the radar of the average male, and so has never been exploited by videogame industry.

If there are so few women in EVE, then how come 99% of EVE players have boobs, huh? Explain that one.
