Background flashes after Win10 update

I've been having an issue where the space background (not ships, stations, planets, etc) blinks white whenever i click in space (either left or right click). It also happens if I'm moving probes around in the maps.

It also sporadically blinks white when flying in space or on session change without me interfacing with the client at all. I haven't been able to figure out what is causing this part.

There are no framerate issues.

I'm running an EVGA GTX 970 and have confirmed I'm running the newest driver.

Does anyone else have this problem? Anyone have a solution or an idea on what it might be?
