Should the Tengu be nerfed?

No it is YOU who doesn't understand what we are talking about. I am not trying to make a Cerb that beats your Tengu. I am trying to show you that everything you do to make a specialized Tengu better than a Cerb, doesn't actually make it better. You can make a Tengu LIKE a Cerb. You can make a Tengu LIKE a Falcon, you can make a Tengu LIKE a Eagle... but you can't do it all at once, and most of the time you can't make it "better".

The point of this discussion was, PVE Fit T3's using a specific specialized fit makes them OP. We are trying to show ignorants that this is simply not the case.


The thread might have been about that nebulous topic but my comments were not. I compared the two ships directly based on the content of the quoted post and without reference to anything else in the thread. You addressed my comments directly which means you were addressing me and therefore not talking about the OP's topic anymore. You then followed with a series of direct quotes and comparisons trying to prove something? but it is lost on me.

You want to tell me that the cerb is better than the tengu? For one job sure - being a 230mil isk oversized destroyer with poor utility outside of putting damage down-range. It doesn't have the grid, the cpu or the spare mids it NEEDS to be the excellent ship it could be. Drop a high, give it a mid, call it a day.

If you are assuming I have some kind of agenda to defend the tengu (or whatever) then forget it. I don't even use mine anymore. I have about 15 cerbs throughout the galaxy though because they're capable ships and can give over-eager pirates a big serving of pain.

The tengu has 99 problems but your shitfit ain't one.
