Inappropriate Name For In-Game Ship Browser Tool

The in game ship browser tool shares the name of a terrorist group. As many players are former and current military I believe this name is inappropriate for in game. As a global company you (CCP) should recognize that many people have fought against and been victims of terrorism throughout the world. I currently have friends who may be deployed to combat this terrorist organization. Please consider changing the name of the tool.

This was the petition I sent in to CCP Devs. They suggested I also post it in this thread.

If they do the terrorists have won. not a feature, not an idea, and has been raised before. Kowtow to terror in private if you must but to change everything every time world governments label a terror group with a catchy acronym there will be no end to it.

Terrible things happen, people are always fighting about something and anyone can take offense to any statement.

CCP Dev suggested I post it here. Yes it is an idea and the tool is a feature of the game.

And it was created before the terrorist organization was labeled. The feature exists, moot point. The "idea" is not new, so here are some links:

Maybe we should remove the numbers 0 4 13 from the game because some places don't like them and we should rename the PWNAGE painter as some might find it disrespectful to some people and we should change the back story for amarr and minmitar as slavery is bad

I don't find ISIS bad as ISIS is a world-leading centre for research in the physical and life sciences and it is also the Infant Sleep Information Source

The world doesn't revolve around your petty "feelings" and it is imperative we stop acting like it does. How you "feel" about a name doesn't give the name inherently malicious properties. Or I suppose you're worried that if you step on a crack you'll break your mother's back, or that calling someone a nìgger will force them into demeaning servitude.

Let's stop making a fuss about words and labels. Words and labels are speech, and therefore incapable of directly causing harm. But you know what does directly cause harm? People (such as Islamic terrorist groups, for instance) trying to censor words.
