I have a Vindicator for Gurista Null anomalies, but kind of having trouble with some gankers, so I'm looking to get something a bit cheaper and expendable until it settles down . I was looking into getting the Rokh and going for a blaster fit since I like an up close and personal style. Does anyone have a solid fit for this sexy beast of a ship? I'll be able to fit t2 weapons in 12 days, everything else I can fit t2.

As Baltec mentioned in your other thread (not sure why you needed a new one) look at Hyperion. Rokh does not have a damage bonus but has a range bonus, up close and personal does not really coincide with that. Not to mention Hyperion has a larger drone bay so you can carry ECM drones without sacrificing DPS if you do get caught.

I was looking to delete that thread since I settled on getting a Vindicator, and now a Rokh. Gallente just are kind of meh to me, and the Rokh's aesthetic is just so appealing to me. I might give a jump on the Hyperion after all, but was hoping to hear some sort of approval for a blasterfit Rokh.

Guristas and Blaster Rokhs aren't going to mesh very well....
The rats will fly away from you in all directions.
The Rokh is slow and will need to be witrhin 7000 km or so for a Blaster fit.
Bad Idea.

Has about 18km of range with Void, and 40km with Null
cheap and cheerful fitting ... should bore the gankers to tears

Since it's a rokh thread I might as well ask this here.

Since the rokh gets it's bonus to range, is it best to just say "screw it" to enhancing target tracking and go for increasing it's dps while going an overall sniper fit?

Throw a bunch of mag stabs on the lows and shoot iron at 180km?

I love the look of the rokh but just, dont. Get the Hyperion. You'll be doing as much as 150 more dps AND have a full set of sentries to deal with jammers and spare drones. The rokh just isn't a good pve boat.

Hell, ishatrs, vexor navies and gilas will all out dps the rokh.
