Why is there not an advanced ship for gas harvesting? Ventures are too slow to be productive.
Destroyer/Barge size, 3 hi slots 3 mid,2 low,3 rig would be good.

The venture is specificaly designed to be a gas huffer, and the prospect is an advanced venture, ergo, advanced ship for gas harvesting. While it doesn't have more bonuses than the venture, it is better suited to moving through hostile territory.

And how do you find the venture to be too slow? With t2 harvesters you'll make more isk than you would mining regular ores... A lot more

I'm still on T1' harvesters, 40m3 every 30 seconds, 5000m3 ore hold. takes a while to fill it.
I was thinking something like a Procurer/Stratios hybrid,

Considering how cheap the Venture is for the risk you are exposed to, why would you want to fly anything else?

I just realized the Prospect has a 10km3 ore hold,that helps.....can it harvest while cloaked ??LOL

Well theres your problem. Once you have Gas Harvester 5 and Mining frig 5 come back and tell us its too slow.

And no, you cant harvest while cloaked...

With a T2 harvesters + Prospect & Expediation Frig L4 I Make roughly 40mil every 15mins.

I also use three characters with the same set up so I actually make 120mil before the rats spawn. Then the rats are taken out and I'll bank probably 200mil before all the gas is done. So in one hour I pull c320mil.

Yeah....its slow :Sarcasm:

I'm guessing you're talking about C320 and C540? And do you have boosts? That seems rather high lol
