The most shocking part about all this is learning that Chribba does his own hauling.

While it is not disputable that it is more fun with a kill, with permits, you still get the gank from code.

You mean pay with euros via paypal so CODE. gets some money for permits ?
I think chribba is very smart guy, and will not pay any euros.

What does this even mean? Last I checked, a mining permit covers all highsec activity, and is purchased with ISK, for the low price of 10m.

Are you accusing CODE. of RMT? Because it looks like you are accusing CODE. of RMT.

EDIT: PAPULA is a creepy name. I dont know why, but its freakin creepy.

If you get ganked by CODE. while in possession of a permit there's a 80+% chance that you weren't following the terms and conditions of the permit, thus making the permit invalid.

CODE needs to gank the veldnaught then we have some serious rejoicing to do, otherwise....yawn.....

I recall the topic of ganking the Veldnaught came up around 2009 and someone ran the math and determined it would take something on the order of 250 gank battleships.

Cool, im in!

I was following the T&C of the permit, and was told so in comms. See what they do is gank you, and then tell you oh it was a mistake, but you have to cover the cost of the gank fleet in order to get any reimbursement. Its brilliant actually, they get you to buy a permit, and then extort you even more.

So you fall into the minority that get ganked despite following the T&C

Yes, i fell into the minority that the fabled knights chose to ignore the permit. And you are correct, they have supposed bureaucracy to get reimbursed for a mistake on their part, but isn't bureaucracy somewhat bot aspirant in and of itself? I found it quite ironic.

It's a game. It doesn't require a functional bureaucracy to be fun. And trust me, everyone who ganked you had fun but you.

Truthfully, the gank itself was amusing, what was not is that code always tells people if they buy a permit and follow it they're good to go, and any argument you have they request proof, well now we have that.

I'll break it down for you simple style. People who possess a permit and follow the Code don't get ganked. If you DO get ganked, that's prima facie evidence of violating the Code. This invalidates any Permit that may or may not be in existence.

This is why CODE can say they've never ganked a permit holder. By being ganked, the gankee has proven that they aren't following The Code, ergo the permit purchase was done in bad faith and invalid.

It's quite easy to understand.

The New Order chooses the time and the place for elite PvP in highsec. The Veldnaught will go down if James 315 wills it so.

Edit to add (but, of course, it goes without saying): Unless Chribba has his permit and is following the Code.

I'd give up my PvE playstyle for a day just to explode while making history, it's not often you get the chance to be part of an historical event and get a GF from the Veld God.

In the beginning there was nothing, which exploded.
