6-C Scan Inhibitor

So today in 6-C I tried to deploy some probes from my Jackdaw to scan the CA I'm in only to be met with the "A nearby Scan Inhibitor is preventing normal sensor operation" message.

Which was weird, since I was in a ping well above CA1, and there was nothing within 30km of me.

So I went somewhere else, and moved the probes in the middle of nowhere, and I still got the same message. I then found I wasn't able to use dscan, for the same reason.

However, everything works correctly in nearby systems, so its not just a broken mechanic.

Unfortunately, this prevents me from testing my Jackdaw, since I have it set up as a "sudden hit-and-run" ship using the probes to drop on a target.

So I suppose my question is:
Is this a bug that should be fixed, or is there some other explanation for the issue?

Thanks,
Merlin

Tournament Practice Unit, for AT testing, prevents systemwide dscan and probes.

it was specifically stated that they arent allowed in 6-C, but japanese dont appearently get that.

It does sound like someone has deployed a TPU in the system. I'll take a look into this.

The system wide scan inhibitor has been launched repeatedly for the past 4 days now, making D-scan and probe scan useless in the combat system 6-C.

Which tournament team is doing this? They should have their TPU's taken off them. If they think that's not a problem, just fine them or penalize them.
