Remove Sov. Seriously. Why not?

Stations can be conquered by bashing them as usual.
Supers can be built anywhere in null.

Why do we need to form 100 man snore fleets to maintain sov?

It's impossible for everyone in the game to be having fun and that's by design.

That's why sov must stay. No fun for you.

Agreed. Hi-sec empires must go. Just space and some ships. Clean, simple, pure.

Oh wait. You meant other people's sov.

Sorry.

This has probably nothing to do with all those active timers in fountain that are on BL sov structures....

Sorry.

Why do you want sov? so you can have a system show up on a map with your name on it? Thousands of nullsec players spend thousands of hours to maintain your name on a jpeg?

Something should certainly be done about highsec as well, but thats got nothing to do with the 00 sov issues.

No, it doesnt, actually. The sov snore fleets have been an issue since as long as i can remember. They changed ammo grind to entosis grind but its still just as snoozy. From what i understand, nobody in alliance gives a **** about most of the sov we have. in fact, we're looking forward to having someone come and take it so we have something to shoot.

I vote for fun. I dont think anyone really needs sov. If we really need to have alliance names appear on the sov map to make our penises hard, then maybe base it on how many players we have active in the system each day?

But im asking an honest question, why do we actually NEED sov? It seems to me that the problem isnt any particular implementation of sov, but sov itself. Cant it be replaced with other mechanics?

you dont have a monocle so whatever you wanted to say is invalid. Come back when you have appropriate eyewear.

Make sov holders pay hosting, internet access, maintenance, and tech support fees for the nodes they're holding sov over. Seriously. Why not?

Just nuke the Russians (or the Chinese). Seriously. Why not?

Stupid ideas are stupid. Seriously. Why not?

If you had a monocle maybe you'd have been able read the thread topic. I said remove sov. Not modify it. Remove.

The forums heard it here first folks, straight from the BL mouthpiece. "BL didn't want that sov anyways."

Yeah you said "remove" and you want us to explain the many reasons why your idea is stupid. Right?

Don't need any changes to Supers build mechanics if they do this... CCP would effectively "FIX THE GLITCH"

lol.

yea, other mechanics based around sov would obviously need to change, but i dont see the problem with that. Just allow supers to be built anywhere, without sov. I dont see the problem with that. If you want to build a titan in space you dont effectively control, more killmails for everyone else.

No no, I think your idea was crap.

But I think Supers are crap too.

So I guess I am going to be on TEAM EPEEN and sit back and watch your inevitably locked thread.

Monocles are the preferred eyewear for taking over sovereignty. For removing sovereignty altogether, I think you want an eyepatch.

If you lose it, it will have been removed. For you. No need to REMOVE SOV ALTOGETHER just so no-one will notice you can't hang onto it.

Almost forgot, here is a small blurb about the majestic Narwhal. You can go ahead and read that while your space, that you didn't want anyways..remember, is slowly taken from you.

i just dont see anyone putting forward any real solutions to sov. i cant think of any real solutions to it ether.
I think the issue is sov itself, and i dont see any vital need for it.
