HI all,

I just tried logging in & I keep getting the verification failed message coming up(gameworld.dll is the specific file). I've run the repair tool which takes a couple of seconds to run & reports the client is up to date.

I've not changed anything on my system for a while bar installing portal 2.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Edit: Forgot to add that the repair tool updated itself

Try opening a command line window in your EVE install, and executing the following:
Quote:
repair.exe --safemode --ignore=*.stuff

This should make the Repair Tool skip the stuff files (which will make it run quicker) and should force it to recheck and not rely upon the cached values (which I suspect might be corrupt in this instance, somehow).

Let me know how it goes! Smile

Yep, that worked :)

The repair tool updated some DirectX files btw, then when I ran the client it updated to latest version.

Thank you Atropos x

Yea, it will always try to install DirectX, just to be safe, when running in safemode. I'm glad it worked!
