C&P was once just as lively as GD in the old days, meaning that if it was just as lively now compared to the other subforums it would be the hottest subforum. C&P had better days and everybody was in here. There was once a time when all the hurf and blurf merc hire/fire/scam/chest-beating threads were less than 1/4th of the traffic in here. Now it seems it's all that's left and the same thread you see on page one on one day will still be there days later.

Spank was a familiar face around here back then. Scandals and all. Good times.



Yeah, I have read C&P since I started in the game, but its all mutual back slapping and +1's for crap posts now and tear fests against carebears and CCP for making things a bit tougher. Take AWOX'ing for example, many corps have friendly fire set to legal, yet its a blanket oh can't do that any more, but even if illegal they can do it in low sec and null and yet they don't even try to set that up. It just seems to me that when CCP made it a bit more challenging those guys cried buckets of tears and gave up.

And Psychotic Monk left before this illegal tick box was implemented from what I can see.

Take jet can baiting, now its suspect baiting, but that means they might bite off more than they can chew so they hate it, see its that hard dark world of Eve getting a bit darker for them and they moan and cry.

We still have great threads its just the flood of grr code threads that ruin the in betweens

Well you might notice, but the majority of Grr Code threads start off as CODE chest beating threads, the last one got rather funny as I thought one CODE player was going to have a public melt down on the forums, but sadly the ISD jumped in and closed the thread just as it was getting juicy.

I find your posts better than most , so +1 for your efforts.

When the going gets tough the Gankers get their CSM rep to change mechanics in their favour.

And it was CODE.'s bumper boy who started a trollable thread in GD.


The diminishment of C&P when Eve went into the post incursion grind doldrums sometime after the incursion revolt in early 2012. There was once a time when C&P was scrolling every day with capers, stories, smack, and exploits (legal exploits of other players' foibles , not hax). What brought it down were the players moving on and not being replaced and that left room for these endless merc for hire threads. There was once a time when merc threads were only a small part of C&P. I'd say we would be better off if these merc hire/chest beat/ fire threads were in their own forum but then C&P would be reduced to nothing but GRRR goons (and CODE, but that's redundant) started by goon alts needing reassurance.
