Since the Phoebe patch residents of 0.0 space have been used to a 5% escalation chance for each anomoly run, compared to the roughly 2% pre Phoebe patch. The effect of this has been a de-valueation of everything C, B, A and X-Type as the amount of Maze's and 10/10 complex's run has increased beyond the demand that exist for the modules.

In it's current state and form most of these anomolies are run by afk Ishtars, afk Gilas or afk carriers bringing in payments every 20 minutes. In the more lucrative anomolies payouts will range from 18-35 million depending on your choice of ship totaling roughly 55-100 million income per character per hour.

With the most recent patch, we now see these lucrative anomolies in all of 0.0 space, where they were only found in the better space before. Effectively, even the worst systems can now support 3-4 guys ratting at the above rates and the better system as much as 8-10 people afk killing guristas or whatever at full effect.

As a result of this latest patch, active pve (the escalations), will now be worth even less than before. The market supply was already way higher than the demand. Dread Guristas or the equivelant faction loot is an even larger joke than the above as the modules are rarer to find than C,B,A and X-Type and when you actually get some of them, they are worse than the C-X types.

7/10, 8/10, 9/10 DED complex's are often no longer being run as it's not worth the time compared to setting up your ishtar and making a cup of coffee while watching a movie.

As a result of the extra isk that will now be made by watching movies and drinking coffee ISK will suffer from inflation and soon enough we'll all just be afk robots grinding away to earn for plex or ships just because... well, I don't know why.

My point with all this is that CCP in the latest two patches with PVE related fixes have boosted afk gameplay. Bringing less and less reward to those who actively fire their guns or missiles. In my opinion it's a sad direction and many of my friends from my 10+ years in EVE online feel the same. The will to log in and watch afk ships spin around while grinding and grinding more and more isk simply isn't satisfying.

Give us active PVE, or you'll soon find a rather large portion of your subscribers turning to some of the many other MMO options out there.

I second this. Quit adding stupid SOV junk that kills the servers. Give us more content, and not PVP based. Build a more interesting lore for EVE, would'ya?
