Where a lot of us bitter vets post cuz no isds.

These forums kinda suck here.
Even devs use reddit/twitter/everything else more than tgeir own forums now a days

Last I heard isn't bothering with EVE anymore. With the last bit of nerfs to highsec he's just not interested.

C&P was once just as lively as GD in the old days, meaning that if it was just as lively now compared to the other subforums it would be the hottest subforum. C&P had better days and everybody was in here. There was once a time when all the hurf and blurf merc hire/fire/scam/chest-beating threads were less than 1/4th of the traffic in here. Now it seems it's all that's left and the same thread you see on page one on one day will still be there days later.

Spank was a familiar face around here back then. Scandals and all. Good times.

Yeah, I have read C&P since I started in the game, but its all mutual back slapping and +1's for crap posts now and tear fests against carebears and CCP for making things a bit tougher. Take AWOX'ing for example, many corps have friendly fire set to legal, yet its a blanket oh can't do that any more, but even if illegal they can do it in low sec and null and yet they don't even try to set that up. It just seems to me that when CCP made it a bit more challenging those guys cried buckets of tears and gave up.

And Psychotic Monk left before this illegal tick box was implemented from what I can see.

Take jet can baiting, now its suspect baiting, but that means they might bite off more than they can chew so they hate it, see its that hard dark world of Eve getting a bit darker for them and they moan and cry.

When the going gets tough the Gankers get their CSM rep to change mechanics in their favour.

Well you know the old saw about the baby that cries the loudest gets the fattest.

I always found these forums great for learning stuff. I remember King Rothgar explaining in detail how he would use D-scan and great probe fu to hunt people in such a way they had little chance to see the probes on their own D-scan. It was good to know though most of the players didn't try that, there was always that one clever thinking player who did and they never caught me.

I hardly come here now.

Lady Spank used to be a big fan on 1v1s with T1 Incursus fits. To this day I still dabble with the incursus because of those posts.

I was just thinking about Darius III. He lived in the next county from me, so he said, but we never met IRL. Flew with him in the incursion protests. Ran with a good crew too.
