I hope this is an alt character you are posting with and not the character you intend to start the Corp with.

First rule of Eve, don't trust anyone, least of all us lot in GD.

Everyone here will be willing to help in some way, some will be willing to help you and others will be willing to help themselves; both of which are totally valid approaches to playing the game.

As a general outcome of this thread though, don't start your Corp in highsec. You are going to be wardecced heavily, so may a well go to low or null and have fun.

Don't worry this is just an alt I am training for corp management and possibly leadership lol I know the wardecs are coming and I am ok with it. It will help the players learn fast. We will be starting in low sec though :)

Once you get your corp set up, drop me a mail and I'll contract you some frigates to get you started. Maybe 50 or so depending on how many newbies you get to sign up.

It's not a lot, but it will give you a ship replacement program to get started with so they won't be so wary of PVP.

You want help with your corp but don't even post the corp name?

Still working on making it. Training skills, looking for a place to call home, and finding a good bunch of leaders for the corp. I just wanted to get info out early so if people wanted to sign up they could. Working on figuring everything out now, which is the reason I am asking for assistance. No need for a Destiny 2.0

Im with WASPY on this one tbh. You post about a nice plan but dont post with corp name or main at all. Id be willing to help tbh but that throws red flags with me. Sure hey you get some war decs, thats fine if your REALLY wanting trial by fire that is the best and surest way of doing so. But youd also do one thing; create legitimacy with your recruitment rather than being just another shameless begging thread for isk and pseudo-help in GD.

Every now and again Ill contact a newbro in Jita with my alt, someone that seems actually new, and convo them and chat with them a bit to get the feel of them. Usually after killing them to see if they are new or just an alt and drop them some isk to help get started. I loved helping my buddies that wanted to play Eve with isk or stuff in a new venture or guidance, but some would just keep asking for isk over and over again and then the handouts stop. Legitimacy is huge in this game. Imo you failed in this regard and that alone in me giving you help in any way, shape or form.

If you are real, best of luck.

Have you heard anything I've said?

You said it's all circling the drain, the whole universe. Right?

That's right.

Had to end sometime.

It's a lovely idea, but if you are looking for investment you need to have a plan and you need to provide more details. Most of GD react badly to this kind of thread (you are better off sticking to the right forum as well). There are lots of reasons for this, but some of it will be because you yourself have already confessed to not knowing much about starting a corp (but I may have misinterpreted what you said) and not having many assets or much isk.

If you really have a plan, have the confidence to say it plainly. People are much more likely to help you out if you can be more specific (I'm not talking about corp name here, I'm talking about corp goals).

Also, it sounds like you are going to need help with the actual running of the corp, not just the funding, if you are as unfamiliar with corporation organisation as it seems from your OP. You would do well to find individuals who can help you more fundamentally than just shoving isk at you. As always though, don't trust anyone....so pick your people well. And good luck with the wardecs and all.

Oh.. I thought you actually already had a corp set up in game but were afraid to post about it.

On a serious note, and I'll give some advice. You claim to have played EVE for years yet lack the knowledge to start a corp? What have you done all these years? Just sat in an NPC corp and mined in highsec or something? Running corp in EVE isn't rocket science, it just takes a leadership with a clear goal and vision for the corp, and making sure your corp has enough content to not get bored and leave corp for a more active one (a strong, confident personality helps too).

What pvp corp are (were?) you in on your main? How did that leadership function? What worked? What didn't work?

Create the corp. Focus on TWO OR THREE areas max when advertising your corp. Don't advertise that you do "a little bit of everything" because that interprets to your corp probably doing absolutely nothing.
Make it stand out somehow, appeal to your desired group, have a strong selling point why they should join your special snowflake of a corp and not another corp. etc.. I think you get the idea.

And most importantly of all DON'T create a corp if you don't intend to be logged on basically EVERY day for long hours in the beginning. There's nothing more cancerous in EVE than a corp with dead and/or careless leadership.

Lastly, who is your main?

WASPY's post hits the nail on the head.

I'm in a super crappy corp (long story which I will only share if asked), so take what I say with a pinch of salt. However, you can't just mash blindly into making a corp - and yeah I know this from experience. Particularly if you are part of the leadership, you need to have 100% involvement from the get go.

Come back and tell us the plan, what your areas of focus are and what kind of investment you are looking for, and I'm sure you will get more interest than saying"Hey I wanna start a corp but I don't have anything".

I do completely understand the sentiment of wanting to start a corp when you have a vision; it's just that you haven't shared that vision.

You should probably be more specific about your plan, especially what you need and how it will be used. It looks kind of funny that your first posts since you created this character seven months ago were offers starting at 5b on multiple characters, then a week later you come here asking for ISK.

I don't understand. You want people to learn by joining a newbro corp that is constantly harassed by wardecs? I am cool with that. Only problem is UNI has been decced now by like 3 grief/merc groups for like 2 years straight.

So what is the point? You just want collect the taxes and run a slave army?

You make it sound as if Gee Dee is as full of devious masterminds as See and Pee is. This is not true

But anyway, to the OP:

Yes, we are interested...but only if you refrain from using the term 'newbro' and instead call them 'new players'

So the starting plan is setting the corp up in low sec which I feel is the best place to learn the game at the moment as well as the best PvP. We may start off with two different corps depending on the ratio of people that want to PvP vs. the people who want to do industry. I would like to keep them together at the beginning and probably split off as we get more players.

We will have different divisions within the corp to allow for a lot of easy structure early and allow a sort of mentoring program to take place. We will have around 10 people in each division with a mentor in charge of them delegating assets and teaching them the game. (This is also the reason for buying accounts, I have a few friends that wanted decent characters but didn't want to bring in their mains, and I still haven't accomplished this)

The main point of this corp is how players learn and studying the complexity of learning new games. I don't want to limit the players in what they can do, that is why the corp is fairly open and broad. After the players understand the game we will likely split into more specialized corps within an alliance.

I am not specifically asking for isk. Just support, advice, and possibly joining the corp. There is a reason I specified people that were leaving or had left. I don't want to take isk from people playing the game, I want to keep assets alive from the old guard and transfer them to the new players.

The whole point of posting so early is so that I could see if there was interest and get feedback, which has been incredibly helpful and I have already had quite a few lengthy conversations about what we can do with this corp and different game plans for learning and the study of these players as well as growing the corp with other new players.
