Fireworks in umokka.....what fireworks?

And it wasn't so much the raffle, I rly wanted to see what 'fireworks' would look like in the vacuum of space ;p

Not bitter, just disappointed. Should have realized it was just another bs scam from the same bunch of losers that have nothing better to do. I don't even recall any of those names on the winning list at the station, and I was there from 2 hrs before the 'so-called' was to happen.

Huh? You weren't looking very hard then. I saw 2-3 of the winners there when they were announced; 1 was in his Raven closer to the moon, torpedoing an innocent container that was just minding its own business.


Ur right, I did see him. I was watching him torp the can. Was that the fireworks? ;p Congrats to that pilot in the Raven o7 and thanks for the fireworks show, I owe u a Quafe sumtime o/

What was there wasn't bad, but it was basically just a line of cans by the promoter, and everyone else just threw theirs around randomly.

What I would have liked to see is a large circle of cans (perhaps 50-75 KMs) in diameter, oriented like a clock-face with its back to the moon, with multiple laser boats in the centre all firing outwards. With torps aimed at a can in the centre; explosions pulsing outwards.

Some more creative use of repair drones and logis would've added to the atmosphere too. Smile

Yea the other pilot deff made the 'NON-event' better. I like the the 4 pilots that made that ring near the station. and the chatter in local was deff funny sh!t

All bull aside it was fun to see all the pilots in one place. I had fun watching. Did the conga line ever get moving?

OP couldn't get into a venue on New Years because it was too crowded.

OP was complaining about poor planning on both Daggaroth and CCP's side. Most people went out there for either the raffle or a fireworks show. Some people couldn't win in the raffle or see the fireworks due to CCP's servers or the servers that NER are hosted on.

On an entirely different note, I want to know where my Tier 3 battlecruiser is. It was a participation prize and I participated.
