Lately I have been doing some exploring in several hi sec systems. But the only wormhole I have found is the same one in different systems. It is K162. Could someone tell what type of wormhole this is and how can I find something other than this one? I imagine it is a low level WH since I just started exploring.

K162 is a more common WH, it leds to sleeper space and some times is good shooting and other times is not

you shouls lean more astronomics or is it grionomics or is it space-a nomics i forget

anyway you need more sicence learning in the fiels of probes and scanners

there is more to find than this WH, you should have found many camps of NPC by now

thats way i say you need more skills in that fiels of probes and scanners like LV5 stuff

K162 wormholes are the "other side" (exit) of normal wormholes (e.g. A239).

Let's say you're in the Amarr system and find an A239 -- you'll know that this type of wormhole always leads to a low-sec system in K-space. You jump through and it takes you to "Basgerin" (a low-sec system in Sinq Laison). When you jump through, you create a K162 wormhole in Basgerin that leads back to the A239 in Amarr.

When I was in (I think) Verge Vendor I found a lot of of serpentis type locations and now that I'm in Genesis I find a bunch of Blood raider locations. Although, those are like killing pirates in missions without any extra incentive in them I can see plus I haven't had any of them escalate yet. But what I really want to find is different WH's. I probably need to raise all my Astrometric type skills to find more variety of WH's, ladar, radar, and gravometric sites I guess. Unfortuanely, I'm working on my Core certificates and I'm really trying not to deviate my training as I continually get tempted by other aspects of the game.Ugh It's really hard to not sneak in other skills in front of what I'm trying to accomplish.Ugh

i am thinking about setting up a regular wormhole fleet / low sec exploration fleet

Last time i went exploring in wormhole it was good money, so if you can fly a battlecruiser, and is interested, simply convo me in game and i will see if i can set up a fleet.

Raising your skills won't help you "find" more wormholes. They are either there or they aren't, they spawn at random times, and your skills have 0 effect on them actually being there.

The different areas spawn different sites, thats why you are seeing blood raider in genesis etc, as genesis is blood raider npc ratting area.

Get your core skills up, you won't be able to tackle even a c1 or c2 wh until you can basically t2 fit a tier 2 BC. Consider, if you are interested in wormholes, joining a WH corp to learn the basics, and get a better understanding of WH life.

This, basically wh's have a mouth, and a tail. A wh's tail is ALWAYS called k162. It could lead anywhere. The reason you mainly find k162's, is that it is more common to have a wh from w-space (inside the wormhole) leading out, then it is to have one coming INTO the wh.

That being said, not all wormholes lead to w-space, some lead to other areas of k-space(normal) space. The mouth ends of wormholes are designated with a letter then 3 numbers, and if you click the link above it will tell you what type of space it will lead to. Also by clicking "show info" on the wh it will tell you what type of space it leads to. For example an X702 wh ALWAYS leads to c3 w-space.
