Providence... What am I missing

Decided to get back into Providence manufacturing and while updating my excel spreadsheet I noticed that utilizing all ML10 BPO's there is a large discrepancy between ore value and providence sell value...

The current ore value of a providence is (based on BPO info): 1.9B
While the Providence is selling around 1.3B (Amarr)

There is a difference of 600M.

I do understand that there is a 2% saving on material at a POS, but this does not account for such a wide difference.

What has changes that I am missing?

Have you caught up with all of the Industry changes? They have changed a lot of things including research levels, refining, industry slots and much more. Depending on how your spreadsheet is set up I'm guessing you have a 100% efficient refine rate instead of the amaximum achievable now.

Have a look at http://www.eve-cost.eu/calculator or IPH for something more up to date.

According to this manufacturing providence in assembly array will allow you reduce manufacturing costs up to 1,275 B. Just choose your manufacturing system wisely. But even in Jita you can manufacture it for 1,3 B.

Based just on minerals, they spike and fall. I'm sure there were Provi freighters made when Zydrine was 400 per, it's 1600 now so the optic would be someone was losing money when they weren't. Due to reproc changes, it's better to sell the now 'losing money' freighter rather than ever consider breaking it down.
