Well at least you can admit it.

Hah! I'm just as much an ******* in person. My mom even said so Pirate

edit: in fact, sometimes I gotta tone it down here, so not to get banned. This is all mostly European management (game + forums), where talking and actions are way more regulated (e.g. don't talk cowboy here). Though I fear you'll find that thinking more common in American millennials now a days. You never know though, the guy on the other side of the keyboard could just as well be a 98 pound weakling in a skirt and no other outlet they can manage to be assholes.

And on the flip side internet anonymity turns tough guys into panda's ...

hmmmm...

1. Don't lose what you cannot afford to fly
2. Don't let your natural mistrust stand in the way of emergent gameplay.
3. That one is probably true.

I'd like to apologize for the poor quality of the post above and sincerely hope you didn't waste your time reading it. Yes, I do feel bad about it.

So do people not teach their kids not to trust strangers on the internet anymore?
Because I consider that to be common sense : total anonymity = 90% chance of person being malicious.

I'm consistently surprised by people outraged by this as if it's an eve exception and not the general rule with people you can't actually walk over to and slap.

I have learned, while playing EVE, that Omar is an alcoholic.

The answer is 'nope'. You wouldn't believe the number of "my teenager is gone with someone they met over the internet" incidents I've dealt with over the last few years...
