Ok so this should be the right place to post this.

I don't know about you guys but when I'm not in game or cannot be in game I am on the Forums. I feel that if broadcast4reps was accessible through the forums it would give more pilots faster access to people/friends/confidants when they are needed not just when they are able to log on.

Let's be honest....EvE extends way past the pc monitor and is deeply rooted and entrenched in a true pilots life. If I'm not In game I'm thinking about the game.

I have been battling deep depression for about 6 months now. It's not easy and my life has been a nightmare. The only relief I have atm is a bottle of Prozak and Eve. There are days like today where I need to talk to a buddy in Broadcast4reps but can't be logged on...lets do something about it. I would even go as far as to donate plex to the creation and monitoring of said channel if the costs are simply to high for CCP to manage something like this. If feel it's important and would certainly help more than it could possible hurt....though I Am oblivious to how much work it would take to create something like this.

Supported, BUT, While I understand the need for good support during bad times, like when your own mind is your enemy, I'm not sure if the forums are the best place for it. There are a lot of trolls under the eve forums bridge. Much as I am entertained by the constant badposting(to which I contribute), I feel the forums might not be the place of understanding, respect, and mutual support that is desired.

It could be as simple as CCP stating that trolling in that forum channel be met with a zero tolerance PERMABAN for all accounts associated with the trolling toon. But agreed trolling could be an issue though it could be met swiftly by CCP.

To the point of the forums not being the place for that....I disagree. In fact I believe the forums are just the place for the quick connectivity people may need at any given moment. And further it would be quite groundbreaking for a gaming company and gaming community to put that kind of support in place for its subscribers.....in one word it would be EPIC!

In the matter of forum posts being track able it would be nice to see some sort of block so all posts in a Broadcast4Reps forum are not viewable by normal means. If this is at all possible or if any of this gains any traction will remain to be seen but any ideas or input or support in this matter would be greatly appreciated.

As we are all members of this love hate community we can all agree I'm sure that it is never easy saying goodbye to close friends and years of bonding. The pilots in Eve have always proven that together we are unbreakable.

Thats what EVERY PILOT COUNTS means to me.

Apart from the potential trolling issue, my only concern is that they might not get the timely support they need. Some of these forum sections aren't the busiest on the internet, and I wonder how many people would routinely browse a Broadcast4reps section as part of their daily forum fix. If someone's really in trouble it might be better for their wellbeing to get more immediate help elsewhere.

Who knows. Maybe a trial run to see how it goes?

Agreed. Ask the ISD to put it in the proper place and they (hopefully) apply glue to it.

I admit that I don't visit GD most of the time but reading coffee's post actually made a lot of sense and should have a place here.

We are all humans and in most cases it is much easier to open up to a complete stranger than it is to talk to someone you know. We may not agree on balance choices and other stuff but if you call for reps we do care, well I do.

Eve Minions is recruiting.

This particular thread has stuck in my mind for the lest couple of days. It hits close to home because my eve friends helped me during some of my bad times, the kind that require things with black box warnings.

Perhaps a subforum with stickied web resources or basic cognitive behavioral therapy exercises.

Liability may be an issue but eve has an economist on the strength, I wouldn't bat an eye to find they might have more than one psychologist. Not to help individual people, more to study I expect, but such a person could vet the resources being posted in the stickies.

Eve has a lot of gameplay with the darker side of human nature, but our community compassion still shines more than any other games' because our community is our game. I wouldn't want my worst online enemy quitting eve, and I certainly wouldn't want him/her quitting due to suffering from depression, anxiety, bipolar conditions, or anything like.

CCP make this a thing, please
