What is better for logging off a supercarrier in nullsec after done playing eve for the day (while not in combat or agro):

A) Logging off in a new safespot each night while not in fleet...

align, warp, cloak immediately, log (while no probes on scan)

B) Logging in a large POS, near center of tower....

See the issue here is the question- logging is safe sure, but logging back in will be affected by drag bubbles. Also, due to the large size of supers can they safe jump out the center of a large tower which has been bubbled up from all sides?

Just curious if any other super mechanics besides shooting them and logging were changed with winter patch. Thanks guys.

If in 0.0 ... safespots are definitely the way to go. "Ragecaging" is an awful way for a ship to die.

If in low-sec... log off in the POS and laugh.

The Login Emergency Warp is unaffected by bubbles. If you log out in a POS you'll end up sitting in the POS when you're done logging in.

It sounds like "Cape Rage", actually.

To clarify... bubbles do not affect your "emergency warp" on the way back in. They do affect you when you try to log off (with or without the aggression timer).

Logging off in a POS (with or without Aggro) will have you sit very still inside that POS until the server disappears you Bubbles etc. don't matter.

When you Log in, you will appear 1 million m (or KM, don't remember, doesn't matter) away in a random direction and warp back to the spot you disappeared at in a POS. Bubbles can not affect this.

Rape Cages are set up and maintained to prevent Caps and Supers from jumping out from within the safety of the POS. They pretty much need to be maintained until the POS goes down and all the Caps have logged in to be slaughtered (or you've completed whatever objective you needed to incapacitate the hostile super fleet to complete.
