Mass-Test on Singularity, Thursday 6th August @ 17:00 EVE-Time

Hi all,

We are planning a mass test on Singularity on Thursday, August 6th @ 17:00 EVE time. Third time's a charm. Blink

What exactly is being tested?
  • Revamped stretch effects used by utility modules
  • New audio backend for Turret audio.

    • How to connect to Singularity for this test:
  • Read the Instructions at http://wiki.eveonline.com/en/wiki/Singularity and read general instructions about mass tests at http://wiki.eveonline.com/en/wiki/Mass_testing.
  • Join the in-game channel "MassTesting"

    • Test steps:
  • Meet in FD-MLJ
  • Jump to X-BV98
  • Align to POS beacon
  • Warp to POS beacon
  • Shoot the control tower
  • Use ewar/remote mods
  • Align to Poitot gate
  • Fleet W: Jump to Poitot and setup gate camp
  • Fleet X: Jump to Poitot + fight at the gate
  • Doomsdays


    • What else should I know?
  • We will be moving players to the test system - join the channel massmoveme
  • 2M Skill points will be awarded on Singularity for this mass test
  • Bring many different ships and ideally titans if you can.
  • Fit a selection of utility modules, from the following categories: Cargo Scanners, Neuts, Nos, Cap Transfers, Salvagers, Tractor Beams, Remote Armor/Shield Reps, ECM, Remote Sensor Boosters, Ship Scanners, Survey Scanners, Target Painters, Remote Tracking Computers, Warp Scramblers
  • Cynos will be provided

    • Known Issues:
  • Caldari Doomsday impact smoke lingers
    • [*] NPC wrecks have no icons (and the overview lags when trying to view wrecks)

    lets hope it actually works this time :P

    although the 2m sp for doing nothing last time was quite nice XD

    Also, when is a mirror being done? I'd love to bring my titan along but it hasn't been copied over yet

    Yah, we get two days notice. I'll be there.

    It sucks to hear that the guy above my comment received 2 Mil SP for the cancelled mass test. I was at the first mass test that was cancelled and got nothing. I even had to fly like over 20 jumps to get back to my system.

    Looking forward to this.. after all, all good things come in threes (Or so goes the saying here in Germany) and let's just say it works this time Cool

    As a side note, maybe you should look into the Animation & Dmg timer of the Oblivion, since the Missiles now have a static traveltime, but the dmg always get's applied when their half way to their target.. looks a bit strange, but that could just be me, being most likely the only Person actually looking at all those effects and playing with Sound (The Heretic!)

    Gosh... There was another attempt of this mass test (2 weeks ago I think...) which had got canceled because it was unplayable with all the lag and we all received 2 mill SP for turning up. Should always check the forms to stay updated on whats happening

    no, not for tomorrow (we are trying to schedule a mirror, but nothing has been decided so far)

    Having only just been able to renew my subs, is it possible to get my login activated for this? I know this usually means waiting at least 36 hours but I'd like be in on this one.

    I've been waiting for the same answer and this clears stuff up. I've been dying to just get on Singularity but my account hasn't been mirrored yet.

    i got in last minutes of massetest thought and was moved to ccp habakuk cyno then got instapopped xD thanks for fun . dont excepting the skillpoints as i was too late. would just like to get titan instead of sp

    You get it on the test server, it is not a trick you really expect 2 million on the REAL server? That's a month of training mate!

    Thank you all for helping with the test! Skill points have been applied.
    In the gate camp we experienced heavy desync and crash problems, which confirmed our theory on what's wrong. A possible fix for this will be tested with the next patch.

    My client kept crashing and not letting me load into the game. Can I get 2mill SP?

    Hmmm, could you please add more information? Can you find crash dumps about it?
