I have a pvp alt who can fly any race ship from supercarrier on down.
My idea is to cyno him in with a higher skill point character I have but never use.

Option 1 is to cyno him in a carrier filled with pvp ships. He will eject from the carrier and my alt will board the carrier and kick out whatever ship pilot 1 needs to pvp. Either character can cyno each other home. I would like to have the option to pvp with the carrier as well as the ships inside but if the carrier is filled with expensive pvp ships..that may not be too wise.

Option 2 is to cyno in a Rorqual and do the same setup. Only difference is the Rorqual has a clone vat bay so when the pvp alt gets podded in a bubble he can insta activate in the Rorqual and insta reship.

1. Question on Option 2 is, how do I keep my clone up to date..is it done when the clone is purchased?

2. Also wondering which option would be more ideal for pvp.

i believe you can only put mining ships in rorqual so good luck PVPing with that Blink

and i dont think you can upgrade medical clone from there as it is only a clonevat bay but i am not sure on that.

so doing it with the 2 chars in carrier i would advice against it, if they hotdrop your ass you loose a lot

ya you're right about the Rorqual.

So carrier it is. Since its full of various pvp fitted ships I won't be able to use the carrier unless I'm feeling rather ballsy.
More or less the carrier will be a 0.0 orca.

Thx for the advice.

Keep in mind that you can't board another ship while your current ship is lighting a cyno.

Since no one else has asked yet, I will;

Where will all this be taking place?
And what ships are you planning on storing in your carrier?

Also, what type of carrier is it, What's the character(s) name, and are you triage fit?

Best advice you can get here, don't even think about doing this. It will end badly and will cost you a lot if it all goes wrong and it will eventually go wrong when someone hotdrops you in return.

I am guessing with the ideas you have proposed, you are expecting to fight solo? If so, I wouldn't even consider using the carrier in this way.

I am no expert in this but what u propose is a very bad idea from any view point.

Obviously you are talking about solo pvp and if its in a decently populated low sec your cyno will get immediate attention. You can always fly in from the nearest high sec and you can always save your pod in low.

You can't even think about doing that in null sec anyway.

I really can't imagine how did you find this idea to be a viable tactic.

I'm pretty sure the OP makes a good argument on the sale of characters. I'm just not sure whether it's for or against.

You obviously have no idea what you are doing... so I recommend you start by droping that carrier in Syndicate to get the hang of PVPing.

TXW-IE should be a good place...

This pretty much says it.
By the time you have the skills to do this, hopefully you'll have learned at least a couple things about the game, its equipment, and how to use it for PvP. If you just have to proceed, add me to the list of people drooling for the killmails.

I read the thread in more detail.. my bad for being drunk the first time.
Tip #1 Give daddy his credit card back. There's no possible way you can have played this game that long and be so stupid.

Hit autodestroy before lighting cyno and light it in the last 30 seconds of the timer.

Walk into the club like "What up? I got a big cockpit!"
