Lag when trying to create contract

For some reason, ever since Aegis, if I try to make a new contract, when right clicking on an item the entire game freezes for about 5-10 seconds. I also notice market lag, and show info lag.

Anyone else seeing this?

Does it just happen the first time you open a window each time you load up the game?

There were changes made that meant not all info was downloaded initially, only when needed. Saves downloads, space, etc.

Could it be the cache populating on the first load?

I have the same issue.

When openig market 10s freeze.
Contract 10s freeze.
Show info 5s freeze.

Every time i open it.

I am also having several load issues. From starting the launcher to character selection, all the way to menu screens and rubber banding in space. None of which I have experienced in the past with my ISP/current rig.

Playing on AMD A10 4.0 with 760SC

I don't DC very often but it is more common now. Also I have tried several workarounds like reinstallation and resource download.

A solution would be nice as the game is quite unenjoyable for me currently =(

Same delays, but not every time.

Trying to access POS to refine, manage jobs/BPs is a nightmare.

Among friends, family and coworkers, we have 27 machines running Linux or BSD. Out of the 27, 16 are having this problem.
Can't find a common thread among the 2 groups as to why some are ok and others freeze.

Some have noticed an unusual increase in system cpu usage during freeze. (They have system monitor indicator running)

Heard rumors that on 8/25 update there were changes made to DirectX. Has anyone seen anything concrete about that?
