It's kinda hard to be a failure if your good at what you do. And what I know of them they were pretty good at what they did...

Look up names like The Cosmopolite or Jade Constantine. Look up the Guritas Ethan Verone, who did as much against Amarr "slavery" as any five of this current generation of "Matari." That is your history. That is how high the bar is set. See if you can arrange that.

Those people mentioned are failures that are no longer around.

Ethan Verone was the CEO of one of the most consistently successful and famous capsuleer pirate organisations in New Eden's history. Despite being a traitor to the Federation and a Gurista, he managed to obtain almost universal respect (grudging or otherwise) from the populace of the IGS throughout his tenure. He was, in fact, so goddamn good at what he did that he was invited to join the Guristas in an official capacity - a function which he still serves to this day. He is the only independent capsuleer since YC 105 to ever be afforded this opportunity.

When has Omir Sarikusa ever noticed you?

What have you done except hop corporations continuously since YC 114?

You don't even have the distinction of being the ringleader of your little flavour of insanity - you're hanging off of Nauplius' coattails, and there is very little more pathetic than that.

Demons love to disobey people. Why do you think there are no demons or summoners about - most of the latter were killed by the former, who then returned to going about their daily business instead of rampaging through this plane.

My demons are firmly bound. They only thing that would unbind them is to do what others on the thread have threatened to do: destroy the Temple and the Demonologists inside.

Non-Minmatar should therefore think seriously whether they want to destroy this Temple. Do you really want to unbind demons that have been bound to the destruction of a Minmatar bloodline only?

Even Minmatar should think seriously whether they want to destroy this Temple. The ancient texts seem to indicate that unbound demons continue their original programming, albeit in an increasingly chaotic, extravagant manner. It is logical that a demon bound to the destruction of a single Minmatar bloodline might begin attacking all Minmatar bloodlines — even Minmatar buildings and planets and spaceships.

Therefore, it would be better for all concerned to allow my demons to remain under the control of the trained Demonologists who have bound them, which means you don't get to destroy the tower. Amen. Amarr Victor.

You are so setting yourself up for one of those fabled moments when they yell "No! You cannot do this! I am your master" before getting killed. Probably by getting impaled on the nearest spiky thing for maximum macabre.

Also, you know, from what I know demons aren't necessarily concerned with this plane of existence. They've got better things to do. I bet Bhaalgorn, left to his own will, would return to the place of his origin and do what demons usually do there. I'm sure his boss has him running some errands. You know, soul herding, admissions for the freshly deceased.

I mean, if you caught him in a particularily foul mood - like on a monday (or the local equivalent of a monday) he might rampage a bit, maybe torch a city or something to vent.

Anyanka, get straight, seriously. Trying to bask in the reflected spotlight of someone as glorious as Naupy works best if you do it quietly.

Trii, go biomass, seriously. Andreus, same.

Ethan is garbage, so is Omir. They do nothing.

Now Nauplius, Nauplius has goals that he goes through with and right now, Nauplius is succeeding!

Good job, Nauplius! More people need to recognize real power when they are shown it.

No nerves were harmed.

But really... Saying Ethan, Omir, Jamyl, Max... hell even Mittani, can do anything on the level of the supernatural like Nauplius is doing is just beyond Naive.

None of them can compare.

Please note how many protections the demon summoning rite has in place to prevent this from happening. A protective Circle and imprisoning Triangle, neither of which the demon can cross. Use of consecrated slave blood, which the demon cannot touch. Magical words of power, which protect the summoner. Commanding the demon in the name of God, meaning the demon cannot disobey. A ritual bath in consecrated slave blood, prayers from the Scriptures, invocations of ancient origin, icons of the Ametat and Avetat in consecrated slave blood; all of these provide protection and power over the demon.

I and my demonologists are quite safe from the demons.

He is garbage who can shift the opinions of thousands on a whim, and actually owns a pretty sizeable chunk of nullsec (and all its assets and resources) that refuses to shift unless he wills it to. His organisation brought down an alliance that, during its time, was said to be invincible and impenetrable.

If he wants to, he can (and had) amass several fleets to fly, pillage and burn under his name, and change the borders while at it.

If he is garbage, then Nautilus is but pond scum. All he can do is to wave his arms around crying doom and gloom and threatening everyone and then get his Armageddon blasted out of the heavens, his towers toppled and even fellow Sani Sabik denounce his insanity.

I suggest that arguing about me, personally, is something of a distraction from the important topic at hand, demon summoning.

I do not deal in fairy tales and fevered dreams. Otherwise I would be a writer and not a capsuleer.

The Ametat and the Avetat will never provide protection to the likes of you, but only destruction.

You sully their Name by your very inclusion of these sacred objects in your foul rituals.

Well all of them have had measurable, demonstrable impacts on the real world. Nauplius has just talked a lot, occasionally to things that don't even exist.

If Goonswarm is misguided, at least they sold their loyalty to a power that's actually real.

I find your wit lacking, Anyanka. Resorting to smacktalk that stands below the level of TEST grunts? Are you really so desperate about being granted even five seconds of spotlight?

Down-right-dreadful. Unlike your little idol, you are, sadly, not even entertaining.

And this thread never was about demon summoning, it was, for the most part, about making fun of Nauplius. Most of us know enough to be fully aware that summoning a demon is impossible, especially without ominous chanting and gratuitous nudity. The whole venue is scheduled to fizzle out in a most non-spectacular way, regardless of whether it stands or not. Probably should let it stand and watch nothing happen.
