Local Chat in Wormholes? How did this happen to me today?

People in Local inside a Wormhole???

I'm still new to the game and figuring out all the nuances, but how on earth did this one happen? I thought there was no local in W-Holes at all?

My assumption is that this pilot was in the vicinity of me? Same site type deal within 200km of each other as I was scanning down an Astero in the same w-hole before he cloaked and I 'guessed' at him being in the Relic Site, is that how this works?

wat no. it is delayed local. You do not appear until you speak there, and if someone is in the same system as you when you spoke you will appear.

You will not appear anymore if people jump out and back in.
You will not appear for new people jumping in after you spoke there.

btw that local chat is fuckin funny.

or feel like you need to get some quality trash talk out of your system. . or if you got stuck and want to throw yourself at the mercy of the locals. . actually there are lots of reasons to **** up a wormhole systems local chat.
