As CCP Soundwave said he'll bring that into the game, (legally killing pods that have GCC)
now wouldn't that bring much more fun into Hulkaggeddon ?

Of course he gave no timeframe ... and i'm not even asking for any,
but i'm asking if it couldn't be done just for this one week during Hulkaggeddon ?

Like ... CONCORD realizes how it can't do anything about Hulkaggeddon,
so they stretch the laws out a bit to even the playground ... :)

And no ganker can tell me it wouldn't spice up their lives a bit... :)

On a slightly side note, has the dates for hulkageddon been released or is it still TBA?

The main problem being that to pod someone that has any sort of clue you need have a bubble or specifically fitted ship.

…but on the other hand, during an event such as hulkageddon, you'll have a fair chance of figuring out beforehand where to bring such a ship for some extra pod goodness. P

I am impartial to this idea, because its so easy to gcc somone who doesnt have a clue to how the system works and this could lead to bad new player epxerinces

This..

And you don't need a bubble in empire to snag a pod.

This, if I'm spamming WTZ with no bubble, you aint getting the pod unless I want teleport service. Even if you have overview set to show just pods, the time it takes you to move from the hulk pod to mine, I'm already in warp. Besides, people don't want revenge, they want to save thier assets and still be able to play the game.

The core problem is the Hulk pilot is out 200 mill, the griefer is out 50. The Hulk pilot can't win this war.

Given that you are old enough to know you can't use a bubble in high sec, WTF is your point exactly?

It's assumed you need a specialized setup to lock a pod.

I don't understand why the OP doesn't just cowboy up and pop that pod. Like he pointed out, Concord is hardly a deterrent for gankers. Why should it be a deterrent for you? If the target is an outlaw, you don't even suffer a sec penalty.

Actions have consequences, you want to kill the pod badly enough you should be willing to deal with them, and repair your sec status just like the rest of us.

Or are you just looking for risk-free PVP vs defenseless pods that are not even allowed to board a ship long enough to fight back?

And you don't seem to appreciate the fact that losing the pod isn't going to make any difference to someone popping hulks during Hulkageddon. It isn't enough additional loss to balance out the ISK ratios loss over gains on a killmail and if you think Hulkageddon is anything more than just another spreadsheet in EVE, you really are a lost soul.

…and that is of no relevance to those who want to go out and pop those pods. You're still talking about the ganker's relationship to the miner, which isn't the one that this tweak is intended to affect.

What a masterful troll you have become.

Maybe someday when I smoke 10 joints I will be high enough to think that shooting at hulkagheddon participants is not participating.

That you have to have a scan resolution of well over 2000 to lock a pod (with no bubble in HS), which also nullifies your 2nd statement; It is not an assumption.

Does hulkageddon give out prices for shooting pirates? Why isn't it called pirategeddon then? How is it participating in hulkageddon when you're not doing what hulkageddon is all about?

Or are you now trying to say that shooting criminals is griefing?

If the last Hulkageddon was anything to go by, it seemed to include a lot of non-mining ships

..is in it the same this time round, another grieferthon??

Or do we have to draw pictures, so you know what a Hulk looks like?

Masterful I say. I am sure you have people convinced right now that you actually are confused as to what a participant is, or that hulkagheddon is "about" something deeper than low self esteem.
