Yes i know i could had and should have used an insta-dock( started using after) but i was multi-tasking several toons and got careless.. But srsly man...even if you end up at the back of the station it should have delay docking, yes, but not that long dammit..

I can't rly say im uber uber upset about the loss cause i can replace it but still loosing a perfectly good ship that way is very annoying.

With just what I quoted if I was CCP I wouldn't reimburse.

You say you got careless and could have used inst-dock to avoid the situation, so it's clearly your fault for not paying attention.

It usually is annoying when you do something that can easily be avoided.

yes , but i am also trying to state the fact that docking timers are to long sometimes , don't cherry pick my op mate , read all of it .

I did read it all, reason I didn't quote it all is because I was only referring to the bit I quoted.

You also don't mention you were at 0 in your opening post.

But why bother with this thread anyway seems to me you already made your mind up. You may as well have just put a support ticket in and let support decide.

What station did you try to dock in?

I know there's mechanics where standings affect docking rights

Be interesting to learn what happened if what you say is all that happened.

Be equally funny to read you were -10 to this station owner and you didn't see the "you can't rock here because we don't like you" messages

Either way, I'm curious to know.

There are good ships,

And wood ships,

And ships that sail the sea

But the best ships are Spaceships

The Session Change timer may and goofed up, It has happened to me in the past. File a ticket under reimbursement is really the only course of action you can do. Be sure to explain the whole situation in the Ticket.

Alright mate , fair enough.

I decided to make a topic out of it because i wanted to see if other people experienced it and also to notify people who don't know that it can happen and best not get careless like myself.

All in all there's no reason to act like a smartass ( so it seemed to me , if not then i apologize )

I have positive caldari faction standings , above 5.0 .

I have read all posts, thank you . I will file a petition when im home this sunday evening. I just wonder if its to late tough cause the loss happened several days ago.

Based on your posts I'm unsure if you understand how the docking works. There isn't a "delay" or "timer" when you warp in without an instadock bookmark. Your ship simply has to be within 500m of the docking ring. If you do not use a bookmark your ship can end up 2500m away. The delay, if any, comes from your ship closing that distance.

Are you 100% sure you were within docking range of the station? It's possible you were webbed by facpo and your ship could not close the distance to the docking ring in time. This is especially likely if your ship "stalled" upon exiting warp instead of traversing towards the docking ring, a bug that is somewhat common.
