Skillpoint gift awarded during daily downtime!
Following the unscheduled extended downtime on July 15, a gift of 50.000 free skillpoints has been awarded to every character who was eligible to train a skill. The skillpoints have been awarded to the character on the account with the highest skillpoint count. Characters on accounts with Multi-Character-Training get also gifted accordingly. If you don't know how to apply those skill points, check out the Help Desk article.

Discounts On Selected Frigate Skins In The New Eden Store!
Several ship SKINs for frigates are on sale now with a discount between 30% and 50%! Additionally, the "Sanctuary" SKIN bundle is also on sale - of course only for a limited amount of time. Check out the above linked news item for images of the SKINs.

Alliance Tournament XIII Prize Changes
The Alliance Tournament XIII prizes have been upgraded. The prizes for reaching the Top 32/Top 16 have been upped by 5 PLEX each, so the good teams will get 10 resp. 20 PLEX each. The Sansha SKINs can get applied to all Sansha ships and the Rattlesnake skin has been improved as well. Don't miss the AT XIII, the first match starts on August 15 and the Finals are on August 30th.

Navy announce Imperial keel-laying ceremony, Empress confirmed to attend
The Amarr Navy has confirmed the start of construction of a new ceremonial Imperial flagship, which is expected to be completed in the coming weeks at the Amarr Navy’s Royal Shipyard and will be “based on the Abaddon-class combat battleship platform”. The vessel will “utilize technologies brought together from all corners of the Empire”. Her Imperial Majesty, Jamyl I will be in attendance at the keel laying ceremony.

Empress Jamyl I Visits Amarr Navy Headquarters
Her Imperial Majesty, Jamyl Sarum I visited Amarr Navy Headquarters for a ceremonial inspection of the Royal Shipyards, and to bless the freshly laid keel of the new Imperial Flagship, which has been named "Auctoritas". On her arrival in Safizon from Amarr, she was greeted by loyalist capsuleers from the 24th Imperial Crusade, Praetoria Imperialis Excubitoris and Curatores Veritatis Alliance. Among the information released, was the name of the vessel "Auctoritas", and the confirmation that it will become the "new flagship of the Throne Worlds Fleet", the division of the Amarr Navy charged with defending the core systems of the Amarr Empire, owned by the five families of the Imperial Heirs.

Alliance Tournament
Alliance Tournament practice environment on Singularity
CCP Logibro informs us about development of a new deployable for the test server exclusively for use when practicing for Tournament Practicing. The idea would be to distribute a number of these items to team captains and they will be able to deploy them as they wish to conduct practice session on any accessible test server, without the need for special versions of the client. The AT XIII tournament captains should have a number of Training Practice Units available in their redeeming systems now. Check out the above linked thread for further information.

patch 23.07.15 is pathetic and worthless =)

all yours news is NOTHING =)....you can't even correct the errors patch =)

That's news to me. Still haven't received mine on two of my three characters that had active skill queues at the time. Support ticket said "within a few days" more than a few days ago.
To be honest, I didn't care if I was going to be compensated. My queue didn't magically pause, I lost no SP, and I was at work through the entire downtime.
What irritates me is that I was promised something I didn't receive and the best answer I can get regarding the issue is "you'll maybe receive them sometime".
At this point, I would honestly just prefer it if you guys responded to my ticket and told me I'm not getting anything instead of having me log on to my characters every single day to see if they've been given to me yet.

Any screenshot of the new overview? I just hope for a return of the old icons
