Yeah you're right, But

It's just who I am and how I talk. I've always been this way. Sorry if it bothers you but I won't change the way I've posted here like this for a while, just because it gets some people in a knicker, doesn't really concern me.

You started the shitstorm of people rampaging off with that suspicion.

I'm just trying to get people to understand that it's just that.

Quote:

This corp is only 5 months old, and yet it has 8 completed wars and 3 active wars. It looks to me as if this corp has been created entirely as a trap for new players so that wardeccers can get easy kills.

Also that quote of you? Suspicion are not. You made a statement with no facts. No idea of what was happening. Now you have painted DWA, who as I said before, go out their way to help newbies, as shittlers who pad K/B and a newbies expense. They are not that.

They were paid for a contract to dec them. They are doing what they set out in EVE to do. I don't care if you want to be mad at them for killing new players. My opinions on that are for another topic. But you went out of your way, to call them out.

Without evidence and you said you couldn't provide evidence and refused to change your post.

If I didn't know any better you did exactly to start the shitstorm.

Not 'in a knicker' whatever that means, I'm merely making an observation of your behaviour.

Erm, I did point out that that alliance wasn't the only one to dec them. You'd have known that if you'd managed to read the first two pages.

Yeah, those guys. I like them.

That corp is as full of newbies as BNI was, not very much. In this case it'll have many new characters posing as newbies who are:

a) restarts/alts from current players

b) alts for nefarious purposes who need to have a believable corp history

c) a very few amount of experienced folks who are genuinely trying to get something started at a corp/alliance level

d) spies

e) spies feeding the corp mistaken info to get them killed

f) corp thieves

g) awoxers (if applicable)

Only a minority will be actual, true newbies.

Just another example of how pathetic the players of this game are.

I undocked from the career agent station on day 1 with my new Merlin, and received a duel invite from a Rokh sitting on the undock. Really dude? Sitting on the undock of a starter system station, trying to trick newbs in crap-fit frigates to fight your battleship.
That's petitionable, CCP comes down like a tonne of bricks on people who do crap like that. Tricking newbies into fights in the starter and tutorial systems is something they frown upon very deeply; wardeccing a player corp is fair game, regardless of its composition or the members locations, it's an intended mechanic.

I didn't say it was illegal. I said it was pathetic.

I had a look at DWA a while back, they had war decced an ally of ours and had killed the CEO of that corp which was impressive as he is pretty good, so to be blunt it would surprise me a lot that they would do something like that.

The only doubt is I have is that Kaauros used to be in DWA.

When the going gets tough the Gankers get their CSM rep to change mechanics in their favour.

Blocked: Teckos Pech, Sonya Corvinus, baltec1, Shae Tadaruwa, Wander Prian, Daichi Yamato, Jonah Gravenstein, Merin Ryskin, Linus Gorp

Yep, got booted for inactivity, which was fine with me considering it was a medical emergency involving my at the time pregnant wife.

Ya'll are some good dudes, and I had lots of fun.

It's not for no reason that CCP says players who get killed early are more likely to both get involved with the larger game and resub.

Conflict drives better retention. I just wonder when we'll be able to knock off the trumped up moral panic and accept these facts.

come on dont play that card, some of those players are getting killed like 5 times in the space of 4 minutes dont be so naive to think thats keeping retention up.

gets pointless arguing anymore so im gonna leave it at that. its not nice to kill noobs so leave them alone Pirate

BS argument anyway.

CCP explained that newbro killing has no big negative effect, ,but that does not mean it has a positive effect on rettention.

Pretty sure that once the 'player retention', 'subscription numbers' and 'think of the children' cards were already played that most other stuff is about fair game right about now.

Half this thread anymore is just a continuation of ongoing verbal boxing matches, and the other half is pretty much folks trying to shame us.

To wit, I say...

Well CCP looks into it, so its out of my business.
Wait!
I am in nullsec, so its anyway.
However, if this is a true story one can only shake ones head.

Respect for those newbros who stay anyway!
And for those killboard jerks: Ugh

Pretty much. I hope the ones we convert over to the dark side stay, but that's really dependent on them and whether or not this turns out to be the game for them. We'll do what we can to turn them into little murder machines. If they get into it and run with it, that's super cool. If not, well, then I hope they stay in EVE, or at least barring that find a game that suits them.

Newbros can make a difference. Our current CEO distinguished himself within a month or so of joining us by going on a frankly impressive spree of bear murdering, despite actually being only a few months old at the time. I have a great deal of respect for him, as being old and cranky it's really hard work to try and keep up with the young and motivated.

Noobs deserve everything that happens to them. Newbies, on the other hand, should be nutured - they're the game's future.

And for the two you so valiantly "saved" a whole bunch, who never had the chance to get used to the game in the first place, give up because "fck this ****". Many of those would never have become "true EVE players" but also many will never be converted to it either. So your hilariously obvious "nono, for the betterment of the game" is just nonsense.

P.s. I'm talking to a, now ex, member of that corp atm. He's been in there 8 days and doesn't even know how to fit his Punisher, he's been flying around in a hull repped crucifier with lasers on it while hiding in Minmatar space. He's NEW, he knows fck all. Those are the puppies you kick.
