That&s it I quit this time for real. I just got ganked again and lost months of loot.

I am tired of spending months ratting, buying a ship and kaboom get ganked.
Biomass or we'll assume you're either telling pork pies or being an attention seeker.
Rule #1, you broke it by putting all your eggs in one basket and undocking in something you weren't comfortable with losing.

I am tired of having NO freedom of going wherever I want because of gangs of morons waiting on gate to shoot people for no reason.
I am tired of being stressed to undock anything and fly through Null sec
You have the freedom to try to go wherever you want, others have the freedom to try and stop you. Your freedom doesn't outweigh that of others.

I am tired of having to kiss ass to join major alliances to be given order over comms
I am tired of being a noob after 3 years
I am tired of thinking that people who started playing the game in 2006 have an advantage that new player will never overcome.
Just like in real life Eve organisations have a hierarchy, those at the bottom take orders from those at the top. Your attitude is what makes you a newb*, the perceived advantage of older players is down to choice and non SP related skills and knowledge. The SP gap itself is easily closed by specialisation because most of another player's SP is irrelevant in any given situation.

Quote:
I am tired of being humiliated
I am tired of thinking that whatever I fly can be nerfed at anytime
I am tired of joining big fleets and suffer server lags
I am tired of games that force you to own multiple accounts to increase your ingame experience.
Yet you posted this thread in GD, in this case any humiliation is entirely your own doing.
Welcome to a game where things are constantly changing. The unsharded universe means that there will be lag on occasion, some big fights have more players in a single system than other games have on entire shards.

When I look back at the past 3 years playing EVE I don't even remember one occasion where I enjoyed the game.
I have wasted money and time on this game like no other with close to 0 reward, so that's it adios !

PS: I wont read any reply so go ahead and bash me :)
If you're fool enough to plow money into a game you clearly don't enjoy then that's your lookout.

Also stuff, can UAE have it?

*deliberate use of newb as opposed to noob, there is a difference.

Jonah, you spent way more energy on that than you needed to.

Probably, I was tempted to just post "lol your stuff" but decided against it.

It doesn't, there's always something new to learn.

When the mistakes you make arent made out of a lack of knowledge but are a direct result of stupidity. At that point you're simply bad at EVE.

I'm not very good at EVE tbh

Maybe it would be well worth the time to create a decent copypasta for this kind of thread, so that in future, instead of effortposting, we could all just Ctrl + V and be done with it....

I'd like to apologize for the poor quality of the post above and sincerely hope you didn't waste your time reading it. Yes, I do feel bad about it.

Wow, never enjoyed a minute of Eve and stayed three years anyway. Wonder what his relationships are like.

if you had played for 3 years then you should know not to do stupid stuff and how to avoid ganks. If you still die then its your own damn fault for being crappy at eve. Enjoy whatever game you find, but as i don;t see you in the 'deleted char corp' you shall return, they always do, one way or another

The only one thing that I don't like about Eve is that sometimes people tend to take it too seriously. So it's the Meta-Gaming (spying and intel) part that I don't like.

It introduces real life headaches into the game. But the point of playing a game is to get away from the real life headaches.

For example, I used to work with a company who sent a "corporate spy" to another company that I used to work with. Then there was a law suit that followed.

I don't want to deal with this stuff in a video game.
