If they are kiting and you can't hit them drop the web and add a target painter.

Dual 150s arent supposed to hit things at 20-25 km. Spike kills your tracking speed and faction ammo for that range has minimal damage.

Dual 150s are scram kiting weapons. I use them on my Moa with two webs, scram and an ab. I never really had a problem hitting things that came into scram range. 10mn svipuls can be tricky, but by manually piloting you can hit them too, especially if you load Javelin. In spite of having 5km optimal I prefer to stay at 7-8 km even with Javelin, as greater distance helps tracking. WIth Thorax´s tracking bonus it will be even easier.

Of course, not having a mwd leaves you extremely vulnerable to kiters, so you really have to know what to engage and what not to engage. Looking at the enemy ship´s guns will help you determine this. Replacing the ab with a mwd gives you a better chance against kiters but reduces your range control within scram range. This might not be a big issue against cruisers and up, but small ab ships will get under your guns.

At least nothing your size or smaller. If, for some odd reason, you needed to hit a battleship at 20-25km using dual 150s, Spike would work. I can't think of a reason why you'd actually want to do this, but it would work.
