You could do it with level 1's if you wanted. It would just take longer is all.

Well, technically, it's a minimum of "2/3" ~= 6.66666666666666 being displayed in-game as 6.67, but to make absolutely sure you're past that (since 6.6651 is also displayed as 6.67 but does not completely get rid of the "we take" tax) you want to see it displayed as 6.68 (which means you have at least 6.67500000000001 standings).

Easiest way to reach a high enough standing is to run courier missions (low-level combat is fine too, the goal is to complete as many missions as fast as possible) very close to a STORYLINE agent belonging to the target corporation, since storyline missions give a pretty hefty corp standing gain too (alongside the usual smaller faction standing gain), and if the regular agent(s) you run those normal missions for are from the same corp, it goes even faster.

nope, you need 6.67 (or better) standing with the corporation owning the refining facilities.

It's easier to see and understand how this works visually under the Standings button in the Character Sheet. It is split into the 2 sections, Faction standings and Corp Standings.

maybe this'll clarify it a bit better.

Say you have 7.0 standing with the Gallente Federation, and 7.0 with Fed Customs, 6.7 with University of Caille, 6.0 with Roden Shipyards, 5.0 with Chemal Tech and 0.0 with anyone else.

You'll have 0% tax in stations owned by Federation Customs and University of Caille.
You'll have ~0.5% tax or in stations owned by Roden Shipyards.
You'll have about 1-2% tax in stations owned by Chemal Tech.
You'll have 5% tax in all other NPC stations who are part of the Gallente Federation.

I prefer 6.70 . It's factually incorrect but it's neater and rounder. Lol
