Normally, you would use the Prospect outside of HighSec, where rats are generally to strong for the drone bay a Prospect could have without being a ridiculous murderboat. So the drones wouldn't actually do anything for you, except getting lost if you see someone on your d-scan and you have to warp out asap.

Also one of my alts tanked w-space rats for 10 minutes even with her ****** skills. That was back when the ship was new and I wanted to try it out. Considering how much dps even just Sleeper-frigates throw out, that's kind of impressive.

So no, in situations where you could actually need a drone bay, it would be useless.

If you're using a Prospect in HighSec, I suggest using a Procurer or a Skiff instead. They tank like battleships and have lots of drone firepower. No problems with ECM-rats anymore.

Alternatively: Change regions. Or just belts, I don't think even in regions with Guristas you'll find ECM-rats at every belt, they're not common enough for that.

A covert ops cloaked, alignin' on a dime, <40m sigrad havin', 10k m3 ore bay totin' black space vacuum and you want more power on it?

Jesus jumped up and played a fiddle. If you think a couple drones are going to save you from what is out where you SHOULD be with a Prospect, you are wrong. 5 light drones won't even slow down Sleeper rats.

I mean, unless you're huffing in highsec or something in which case... best tool for the job, I guess. Use a Venture.

New Eden isn't nice. It isn't friendly. It isn't very hospitiable. Good thing there are people here to shoot in the face.

They're cloaky. You're not SUPPOSED to see them.

I would ask for a 3rd turret slot so that a 3rd gas miner can be fit. There are obvious consequences to this. Also it would allow for a 3rd mining laser and put it in direct competition with barges but at a similar price and a fraction of the survival rating (not to mention losing that essential covops cloak).

Yeah.

Definitely a third turret slot is the best change for this ship
